Stopped by with my family to pick up a few things from the store. Ed greeted us out front and was extremely friendly! My two kids 3 and 6 absolutely loved meeting him. He signed two Matt's offroad coloring books and gave them to my kids. Even gave us a quick tour of all the vehicles and the yard! Couldn't not thank Ed and your team enough. Thank you.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know when you put the planitaries back on the spindle to make sure that seal in the back is installed right. It’s a 2 pc seal that you have to take out (the seal holding the bearing in) and put the seal that was still on the spindle at 18:00 mins together kinda fits inside of each other. It’s kinda a pricy seal if it’s messed up. Have a good one!!

Hey Matt, been watching for a couple years. Just wanted to say as a Dad that just started a project truck with his daughter your videos have been absolutely inspirational for a guy like me who doesn't have the formal training or experience you and your crew have. Every daunting part of our project I have tackled with some degree of confidence I wouldn't otherwise have thanks to your videos. You undertake this and other projects with humility and make no bones about being the best fabricator out there, but demonstrate that these things can take form over time, and there is a degree of adapting that can and should be incorporated to make the project truly your own. This small, humble undertone of your videos really takes some of the fear out of tackling a project like this and gives guys like me the confidence to do things like this in our own garage and be an inspiration to our own kids and family. You are doing so much, and I thank you.

You owe those electricians big time!. They are all just sitting around not making any welding sparks or pounding noises or cussing very loud. Patiently and methodically creating the brain and nervous system for the WLORW. You definitly could not have completed the wrecker with out them. BRAVO ZULU !

That wrecker is starting to look really good! I totally agree, if you wait for it to be perfect, you’d never get it done. Sometimes it better to do a temporary thing and have it started. Of course, if you can get it down right the first time that’s good too, but you can’t always have it exactly the way you want it right away.

Matt , I have been a little hard on my small drills for years . I bought a 1/2" 120 volt corded drill with a torque handle for the big jobs . It took a little for me to remember to grab it , but oddly enough my Makita cordless seem to last much longer . Yay for Ed's apt.

Matt don't know if you thought about it, you might want a rear steer lock that keeps the rear tires centered if you ever have to drive down the hiway . Rear steer tends wander a little bit. Hiway use only

I was thinking just having a light on the dash that comes on or goes out (up to personal preference) whenever the rear wheels are centered would help alot with the ease of use of this, you wouldn't have to glance out the window and guess when it is straight all the time

Operated a lot of heavy equipment with rear steer and the rear steer would walk a little any time you would be moving above operating speed (3 to 10 mph ). The old Snogo's had a center locking pin that would rear steer center when needed. Just a thought

Matt I love the progress being made on the biggest wrecker! You're right about Paul at Fab rats his lathe is awesome and will turn those rotor's down where you need them. The coordination between Chad's Fabs, Elevated, Fab rats is awesome 👍 Tom has really come into his own and is a definite asset to Matt's recovery crew. We like Lizzy's new welding helmet! This build is getting closer to getting put in the lineup for recoverys. Ed's new apartment is going to be so nice other than the RV he's been living in. Good job to all!
