4 year ownership update -2009 dodge ram 2500 6.7 Cummins G56

Nice rig, I am almost a year into my 08 ccsb 2wd 6.7 g56. I have it leveled, deleted, tuned by h and s, south bend clutch( looking at clutch masters soon), mag diff cover and banks grid heater delete/intake horn and breathing thru an s and b. About to swap my fluid in the trans too and add trans cool kit.

For my G56 swap, I went with a Phoenix Friction Stage 2 clutch. It's a single disk. And has no roll over noise! Stage 2 upgrades the pressure plate from 3000lb holding to 3400lb holding force. 3 months in, it's been flawless. Just another option to look at.

Appreciate the update! I have the exact same truck, with being a 08 and 68RFE and have the exact screech when I activate the exhaust break - and don’t feel like changing it since it only screeches the first few throttle release (mystery). The only major repairs are the 68RFE (typical) and rear main seal - other than that it’s been a great truck! I do want to tune/delete but we’ll see.

Hey brother you should consider deleting the grid heater and update it if needed that bolt only needs to come loose once

HEEYY! Where’s the EGR..?🤣🤣 Nice RIG, I own an 09’ 3500 Mega Cab👍👍👍. Same mileage, same bumpy roads, caused parts of the exhaust to fall off….. Super reliable motors.

Man I got a 2016 with a G56. Trust me do a South Bend dual disk. Manifolds are also known to crack on these btw

295/70R17 tires. Stock ride height. Bilstein 5100 shocks all the way around.
