You look so pretty! I cannot wait until I finally get my own. Too many black women are brainwashed into thinking that havving weave and wigs is real "beauty" on a black girl when really, dreads is way more convinient and beautiful.

Ms.Phyllis You make me wanna move from NY just for your SL services. You are so talented & skilled. I know a woman with a lesser standard of quality would have taken so many shortcuts with a head full of so much BEAUTIFUL hair as Robin has, but you really are a consistently fine example of what it looks like to have passion & respect for this art. Thank you for videos like this. It gets us thru some of our SL woes esp for those of us with thick hair like Robin. Tell her "its gorgeous,gurl!" lol

Her locks are beautiful! I have a lot of hair also...one of the reasons why I was afraid to get sisterlocks and opted for traditional locks. Thank you for sharing!

@LovedByMeBeautifully Hi LovedByMeBeautifully. Thank you. I've realized recently that there are plenty of sisters with thick, dense and very healthy hair and that they're process/issues should be shared too. Most of my client's have come to me transitioning from thin, damaged and processed hair and don't even know what a healthy head of hair can look like. Thick dense and healthy hair can come with it's own set of issues, but proper care and maintenance will keep it at it's best.

Can you do another update video on hair. I would love to see what her hair look like now. You did a great job and her SL are beautiful. I wonder how many SL she has. It has to be close to 1000

How many locs does she have? An approximation is fine, just based on your experience. Thanks. You are uber talented!

I love this video. I have a client that has this type of density, 3 1/2 to 4 hours is how long I take. Very nice.

Ha Wow! she has enough hair for two heads. I could tell when they were first installed that she would have a LOT of hair! Wish she could pass some of that density over here! God knows I need it! It looks good though. btw does she have large locs?

So, Ms. Phyllis, if someone has the same hair texture and issues as Robin does, is their best bet to see their locktician more often in order to intervene on the matting?

Im so confused...so once u install them, u have to keep installing hair, or does ur own hair just grow out, without adding extra hair to it?
@hurryhomebuyers38848 жыл бұрын
is that short curly hair from breakage? as looking as her locs are what is that short hair at the root? I'm looking at sister locks as an option for my mbl 4c hair because at this length and texture detangling is damaging. I too have thicker roots that makes me want to grab the scissors...I was hoping to finds a solution to grow long even- length stylish hair. so I'm scared now that I see her broken roots.
@pdyoung678 жыл бұрын
I think because she has such thick hair that's why it looks like that. I also suspect she probably should go sooner to her loctitician or maybe she should have went with a larger lock. I'm locked with SL and I have average thickness I'm 4b/c and I don't mat like that.
@fayetaylor19988 жыл бұрын
Pamela I completely agree with you. She definitely should go in sooner! Also like you said, a larger loc may have been more sufficient for her. I to have sisterlocs and my hair is fine/medium 4a/4b. And I can wait at least 8 weeks for my retight. No matting either. I wish I had more density though!

please can someone tell me what is the big Secret to actually show a video on how to do sister locks.
@queenbeethatme10096 жыл бұрын
Kim Campbell Those who take the sisisterlocks class sign a nondisclosure agreement NOT to share the how to particulars with anyone, not in person or in writing, pictures or videos. If they share the info, they can be sued. A nondisclosure is a legal document to keep the secrets. It would be like you getting mad because KFC or coca cola won't share their recipes with you. This is business. If you want to know the secrets, take the class. But before you do, you will also sign that nondisclosure agreement.🤗
