4 years daily use / carry Leatherman Skeletool CX Review

Skeletool is also my daily carry. I live in British Columbia, and I used to love making trips to the Leatherman store.

I carry this daily with a Victorinox Pioneer X. The knife is in a Hitch and Timber front pocket wallet organizer with my Nanostriker XL and my Fisher Space Pen Bullet. The Skeletool gets clipped in my non-dominant side back pocket so I don't have too many things on my dominant side sense my pistol goes to my dominant side. Between the Skeletool and Pioneer X, the only tool I ever miss is a file but I have bigger Leatherman tools in my vehicle and at home so it works out.

I use mine everyday. Clipped on my belt loop, easy and keeps pockets free.

If I got one of these, I'd have to take a cutting wheel and take off that carabiner part. Leave the bit that covers the screwdriver bit and sand it smooth, of course. But since I don't have want have to do that, that's why I haven't bought one.

I'm a huge Leatherman fan! The Freestyle is the retired model sold previously to the Skeletool. I love the majority of the models unfortunately the Skeletool and Micra aren't my favorites due to the small size of the Micra and limited tools provided by the Skeletool. Better than carrying just a pocket knife though. Not bashing them, just not for me. I love the Super Tool 300. The Wave and Free P2 are awesome as well. What multitool do you carry now?

When i carried the skeletool i carried it alone, atm i carry additionally a folding scalpel and if i carry folders for self defense
