I’m trying to help my brother get setup to do remote trombone lessons. He is experiencing the same issues you described. I’m a Mac and he is a pc. And we’ve had trouble with windows intervening and still cutting the noise even with these settings. Will try my MacBook Pro for him and see if it gets better results.
