Congratulations buddy! Crazy! 40K! 1. What is your next FKT, or do I already know...? 😅 2. How did you pick your kayak? Specs, pros, cons? 3. Besides a FKT, have you considered a traditional thru-hike during the farming off season?

Congrats on the milestone from a Central Ohio native! I believe I've been following you since about 7k subs. I mostly boat, but have been inspired to try kayak camping by you and others. What are some water routes you would recommend in the Central Ohio area for a beginner? What precautions do you take when determining a campsite, and how do you ensure you're not on private property? Looking forward to more kayak camping videos with you and the Colonel! Also, where can I find all the good sweet corn?!? lol Haven't been able to come across any for a while! 😀

Congratulations, Jason. Knew your channel when it started, looking up Ohio backpacking and wondering if it was too late to start in my early 40s. It wasn't. Met you at the Mohican meetup after your first Sheltowee hike. Here's my question: With so many pre-planned FKTs and other well-mapped races, what states/regions do you like the most for 'off-trail' exploration? Is there a future episode where you hike somewhere and take the paths outside of the marked trails for a night or two? Seems you do this more with the kayak (?) but thought it might be interesting to see you chronicle a wilderness hike versus the point-to-point training treks. Best to you and the Colonel and your family. Thanks again for making the content. Terence

I found your channel when watching Dan Becker's video of you guys hiking in the Charles C Deam. Didn't know who you were but I watched till the end where you were leading the guys in prayer and I was like... gotta check this dude out. So glad I did. I was trying to figure out how many subs you had when I subscribed. It would have been sometime over the summer of 2019 when I was really starting to watch backpacking content before relaunching our channel in November 2019. Definitely under 10k! Awesome to see you have success. I probably enjoy your FKT/challenge videos the most... probably cause its something I wish I could do.... even though I hate running haha! I still typically enjoy watching whatever you post though. Well, you asked for a question not a novel so.... in light of what brought me to your channel, if you are comfortable sharing it, what is your Testimony? How did you come to Christ? If thats too personal, what Camp Grounds have you stayed at in Indiana if any? Specifically State Parks. We'll be with you on your way to 50k!
