It feels weird getting rid of Wing dragon, Feral imp, and Silver fang for a Yugi deck since they are such iconic cards to S1 Yugi.

That is true.☺️ However, my selection was based on the power level of cards and not nostalgia. My nostalgia deck would look different for sure!

I just made the jump from anime/manga to collecting cards and apparently I’m an idiot. I bought both Egyptian god card packs and just found out they suck. Any tips for a newb? Decks or single cards? I downloaded the duel masters app and got my ass kicked on the tutorial lol

Depends what you prefer to play. If you want current Yu-Gi-Oh, get the latest booster release or latest theme deck. If you want nostalgia, the GOAT or Edison format are both good choices. ☺️
