Great winter overnight trip, comfortable 100°F (at times) with a wood stove in a nylon tipi. We made a total of 3 trips and the last trip out was way too heavy! Luke & Wes, thank you for coming, great times!

Definitely one of your best videos yet! I truly enjoyed this one. Amazing how much energy is stored in wood by plants absorbing sunlight. Our planet is blessed to be in the perfect zone around our star, not too close and not too far away. Thank you for making, editing and posting your videos!

The legs on that stove make it look like Taylor Swift hasn't skipped leg day. 🤣

-40F is the same temperature as-40C Edit: I strongly recommend that you wear a beanie on your head to bed to keep you warm in conditions such as this.

The only thing that looked good to me (beyond my crazy sons and Wes) was that strong coffee ☕️…it sure helped you guys in the takedown process-ha ha.😅

The pack out will keep me from doing that again. It wasn't as fun as it looked

17:10 ...I put a light sheet over my cot before I put the rest of my stuff on it. It creates an area of trapped air underneath. Then I light 6-8 tealight candles and put 'em under there for 4, more like 5 hours of warmth. Your cot is plenty high enough, no worry about scortching....

Step 1. Borrow a stove you have never put up. Step 2. Use a Tipi tent without a liner for winter camping. Step 3. Have a pretty good time out on some dicey ice. Step 4. Just about kill three strong men trying to haul a heavy sled through a wet snowpack.

Seek outside makes a good one but most of them make something that works if a stove is included, I don’t think one needs to be too picky
