Pit slaves were a cool gang in Necromunda. Modified to have drills, chainsaws, shears etc. as cybernetic arms, they've broken free and form good close combat gangs.
@necronHavoK3 жыл бұрын
The first lore said necrons fed slaves to C'tan, second lore they were made vassals for minor labor tasks or bio science tests. Nothing said used then atomized, certainly they could be under some dynasties but not all. Especially since they mainly seem to be trying for a conquering empire retaking its territory which needs the labor. Not to mention their hierarchy suggests that though they have disdain for other races as inferior, nothing I've read suggests they discard what might be useful in future. Their subjects must remain submissive and that might be the main cause to destroying them out of caution but more likely it would happen over actual open rebellion instead of rare paranoia. After all an inferior race that is captured isn't much of a threat but a cause of minor trouble when rebelling which they'd rather be done with quick and permanently. Not to mention most Imperium citizens (majority of inter-species 40k slaves) would either rebel if captured thanks to xenophobic tendencies or be complete submissive. Thus I'd be surprised if there wasn't necron slaves better off for it than under imperium rule since necrons labor would be far less sadistically harsh. Hope I didn't go overboard in voicing what might be just my opinion since I haven't read 9th edition codex. Thus feel free to correct me if the 9th edition codex says I'm majorly wrong on my discussion points, had to say my part.

I like the idea of Dark Eldar that use human thralls as sleeper agents, willing or otherwise. Also, Necrons having both scarab mind control and superstitious worshippers are both more probable than Dark Eldar using their slaves for anything other than barbered wire fleshlights.

Suggestion: I recently saw your video on tao making space marine like versions of their fire Warriors. You have also done videos of guard units being abandoned or turned on by the imperium and defecting to the Tao. A video on more speculatively what would happen if a space marine company or chapter was forced to go renegade and instead of going to chaos they took their protection by joining the greater good.

If the tyranids can make a "smart" bioform I.e genestealers, is it likely they have another smart bioform acting as a queen, intelligently directing the hive mind? Or do they just run on primal instinct?

Question ! How justified is the fear of the artificial intelligence in the Imperium of Man ? I understand they are afraid of AI being possessed by a demon, but is that really all that common ? Can it be avoided somehow ? Do AIs made by other races suffer from the same problem ?
@RichterBelmont22353 жыл бұрын
Chaos probably have an army of warp hackers. Imagine Nurgle computer virus... scary.
@arthurrebello9193 жыл бұрын
How justified? Yes
@OneMindSyndicate3 жыл бұрын
Very justified because of how susceptible humanity has been to chaos predation. With their luck they create an AI ship and chaos turns it against them.

I was always under the impression that the ethereals are using some type of warp powers to control the tau empire. Maybe they made some type of deal with the chaos powers to gain their empire in exchange for loyalty to chaos in the future.

It depends on the family but there is an entire retinue of trainers that prep the princep before he enters a titan, gradually augmenting his body

What about the Harlequin Eldar?
@hakanlantto50733 жыл бұрын
They are travelling troupe, their profession is to play the great plays. They are kept with most resourses from craftworlds, commorragh and exodite worlds, they probably gather resources the times they intervene in to change the fate of things when they raid xeno species. I have not read anywhere harlequins, aeldari (eldars) or exodotes keep slaves. Outcasts/corsairs/pirates can keep slaves depending on individual level (short stories, not nessesarily canon) and commorragh do keep slaves because, well, drukhari (dark eldar).
