These lore videos really help me with understanding of this massive universe of Warhammer as new fan of the series. Keep up the good work

OneMindSyndicate No problem My only “complaint” is that I have to binge watch all the videos now. But seriously great video, I like to write a lot of fanfics about my favorites games such as halo or mass effect and I already watched several of your videos, some viewers don’t like how you supposedly just recite the Wikipedia article word for word on these things but even if it’s true it saves me time from me reading it myself as I could just listen to it while I do other things. Keep it up!

I've been binge watching them for a couple years now and I still hadn't put a dent in their lore archives lol

Dark Angels: So do we.

That was very cool. lots of new info! Suggestion(again): Do a video series on the different recruiting of the different space marine Chapters. In the Book Dante it was really interesting to read how the Blood Angers do their recruiting. What different physical and mental trials the boys had to go through. what choices they were given. especially interesting was the view and the attitude of the "Angels" towards mere mortals. I would love to hear that for other chapters (because I believe this to be very different and I´d like to compare) like the space wolfs, the dark angels, the blaktemplars, the salamanders, the raven guard ect. and especially the Ultramarines since they are as far as I know the only chapter that recut from multiple worlds and their recruiting prosses is known to be extremely effective. The different survivel rates of the different trials, the survivel rate of the implantation prosses since the different chapters do it differently. OK now this is quite a lot but it would be really really awesome!

Question : what happens to a fort Monastery when it's has been abandoned?
@ekulerudamuru6 жыл бұрын
neewb they don't just abandoned them, it's either destroyed or have been conquered by other forces..
@neewb27236 жыл бұрын
ekulerudamuru ok is there any stories of a monastery been conquered.
@ekulerudamuru6 жыл бұрын
neewb been a long time so might be wrong but I think read a monastery being overun by Orks, and then there's this one by Necrons..
@ekulerudamuru6 жыл бұрын
neewb and also monasteries are built in the Homeworlds of the Chapters themselves, so if they abandoned it, it would only mean that their homeworld is also lost..

they never deactivate the defenses and the servitors and serfs continue to work awaiting their masters return

i found 2 mistakes in your video. most new foundings of space marines do not get a homeworld to call there one so they are a fleet based chapter. just like the Black Templars and and imperial fists. new SM chapters may be granted a homeworld after they have proven them selves and build a fortress monastery. until then one of the capital ships will house most of the chapter. like it is for the Black Templars. black templars do have a different aproach to this and have several keeps on planets they have been. the Imperial Fists have the Phalanx. they did have one. on Terra. but was destroyed during the Horus Heresy. it still is a place of pilgrimage for humans and astartes and there foundings second. not all fortess monasteries are seperated from the local population. most notable. the Ultra marines.
