You'll get a much better workout if you go slower! Like you would if you did dumbbell flush lying on a bench. And hold your arms out as straight as possible

Be careful my neighbor put a hole in his chin when the spring broke in the middle. The real test is doing it 30 times holding each rep 7sec. Or more

Good evening everyone. Why are some power twisters very noisy? That is, the spring makes too much noise when bending. Poor quality or is it normal?

For better effect do slowly

este ejercicio se ha de hacer en negativo soltar lentamente dejarlo extendido y cerrar fuertemente asi tensionas mas los musculos y tienes mejores resultados y ganas volumen y fuerza

Constructive criticism is I think the second guy used his shoulders too much which allowed him to do it so quickly. I think the first guy and also the last guy probably had the most correct forms, however I think the first guy did it best since he allowed the bar to straighten out all the way before curling it again. God Bless I've subscribed. : )

That's not 40kg, the initial bend would make all your forearm muscles pop out, just to start the bending of the spring. Still hard work at 20kg, but theres no need to exaggerate. Better done slowly, less chance of damage to elbows

I believe its 40kg bar. Its already been getting hit over n over again… so its like 20kg fresh.

Go slower and don't allow the bar to straighten. Keep some tension while working out. Keep control the entire time.

Nice. You should try the hydraulic power twister. The force of 20 kg to 200kg. It’s really tuff stuff.

Am thinking of buying one. Does those springs snaps? Do they brake?
@jasonbeaver1061
@jasonbeaver1061 5 жыл бұрын
Yes, I had one that broke. Startled me but no harm. The break was less dramatic than when it slips from your hand. I bought another one. Not sure how effective it really is - I just like bending it.

Can you gain muscles with a power twister or just strength
@MonkeyDLuffy-xg9dg

The Power Twister builds strength and size in your chest and arms. ... Incorporate it into your upper-body or chest-specific training workouts. Use the Power Twister to perform the overhand bend, underhand bend and overhead bend exercises.

Its because their not fully controlling it in both directions. When you fully control it with a 2sec squeeze and 2sec release then you really feel the resistance

@Bamboo Training EXACTLY! I'm a strong guy and I've been training for years and I lift heavy in the gym on the bench press squats etc. And the 40kg Power twister done in a controlled manner is definitely no joke. And if your strong enough you can put it behind your neck and mimic the pec dec / butterfly machine movement for chest
@onpoint357
@onpoint357 2 жыл бұрын
If I used it for the basic in front of your chest bend movement I'd go to about 60 - 80kg. But the heavier the resistance your limited to what you can do with the power twister. With the 40kg I use it to do a variety of excercises when I cant make it to the gym alongside dumbbells and resistance bands.Or sometimes I use it as a finisher when I workout at the gym..
