Jason made the lake look like he was no big deal and then I decided to get in too and could hardly breathe. Lol! I'm a whimp when it comes to cold water. My ankle is feeling pretty much normal at this point. As for his poles, he was borrowing those from a friend. This whole run was really incredible. I really liked the views on top signal mountain! Can't wait for never summer! Only week out and I'm starting to get super excited and anxious.

Awesome run. Beautiful country up there, the colors in the burn area were incredible. And any lake above 10000' is definitely going to wake you up! Should have picked up some cinammon rolls in Glen Haven on your way up, to enjoy in your drive home!

Amazing run in the mountains. Gorgeous surrounding. Stunning views. Love the whole scenery… but what i am really jealous of: diving into the crystal clear water of Lake Emmaline! That was damn cool and also refreshing i guess. Good luck to both of you for the Never Summer 100k!!
