Fastpacking the Hardrock 100 - SOFTROCK

The Hardrock 100 course is a 100-mile loop through Colorado’s San Juan Mountains. I joined a group of friends to tackle the route over 4 days in July of 2024, running from town to town with vehicle support, so that we could experience its beauty and rich history by daylight.

Jeff, I don't know how, but you've completely outdone yourself again. The documentary style productions you've been publishing over the years are always nothing short of amazing but this just takes it to another level. Stunning POV and drone shots, perfectly suited music and enganging narrative made this such an enjoyable watch. Like one of your buddies said at the end of the video, life is not complete without experiencing these mountains at least once in your life so I'm going to hold hope I am lucky enough one day to say the same.

Our daughter joined the Ultratrail at some point and we had the opportunity to look after her on a few runs. I came across your channel and can only say: great pictures. This was cool - ive done the majority of this course over the years. Grant Swamp Pass up/down is maybe the only non road part i havent done but not sure ive ever seen the course like this. Beautiful videography!
