I needed that pep talk today! My mind has been traveling to worst case scenarios over the last day or so, and I’ve been struggling to get back to my regular optimistic state. This season will NOT be easy for most of us, if any of us, but it is impermanent. We will see the other side of it, but it will take our collective commitment to health in all of its forms - physical, mental & emotional. We’ve got this!

I have been stress baking the last week, it's comforting to me and honestly, who doesn't love a warm chocolate chip cookie?? The weather where I am hasn't been great to get outside, lots of rain and cold wind. I'm hoping for a better week this week - last week was so full of uncertainty and fear as the virus is making it's way to my community - it still is scary. But worrying to the point I'm making myself sick isn't going to make anything better. Let's keep it positive! Crushed this workout today!!

I'm keeping active by walking multiple times a day. I walk my doggo at least a mile (he's a little nugget so that's a big walk), and then I walk with my husband as much as I can. We did 6 miles yesterday 🙌 . It truly helps me mentally and physically! Thanks for your consistency and always being there for us! It doesn't go unnoticed or appreciated! Stay safe and healthy ❤

I’ve been doing your workouts almost all day everyday lately lol this was a really good one. I have been snacking way too much due to the stress and uncertainty of the unknown , “stress eating.” I hate it and hope that I can overcome the stress and get back on track. Working out with you at home since I can’t go to the gym. My 2 yr old daughter gets excited to watch me “ekkercize!” But she also thinks your name is exercise, haha. “Mama, Ekkercize is doing high knees too!” :D Now she talks about getting dumbbells when she is bigger. I'm trying to do them when on my lunch break from working from home during all of this social distancing/self isolation period and I find they are really helping me keep active and clear my mind. I've never been one for these kind of work outs before - preferring the slower pilates videos - but you have totally changed my mind. I've been having a lot of fun looking through all your videos and deciding what ones I want to do next!

Alright, so not going to lie, last week I was struggling with doing the boot camp workout, but today I went UP in weights for my arms AND kept up with the high impact with Sydney. I loved all the moves, they kept my mind engaged as well as my body, and even though I was breathing hard and sweating up a storm, the time flew by so quick! 🏃♀️ I am so very fortunate to still be working at my job, and I have the next 2 days days off , so I am taking the time to balance and center myself from all of the current craziness in the world right now. I'm so grateful to you, that you are still continuing to offer us these awesome workouts here everyday! Luckily for me, I have been working out at home for years now, so the closure of gyms hasn't affected me. My workouts are continuing as usual, and as always working on my fitness everyday keeps my body healthy, and my head on straight! 😁

Ooh boy that was a tough one, but I crushed it!! I think I'm going to invest in some heavier dumbbells, I felt during that workout that the ones I had weren't heavy enough for some of the exercises. I really love your workouts Sydney not only because of the amazing exercises where I can really feel myself working hard, but also because of you. You're always so positive and you keep me going when I feel like giving up, you don't let me give up. It's really what we need during these hard times.
