40 Year Old Street Food Stall With NAKED SHRIMP

In this food travel vlog, my girlfriend and I eat some authentic Vietnamese street food in District 1, Saigon, Vietnam. We eat at a local street vendor run by a sweet Vietnamese family who have been selling here for over 40 years!
I practiced speaking some Vietnamese with the family who run this food stall, and I asked them what the best selling dish is. They told me it was their "dry noodles", which they referred to as "ăn khô". The dish was made with egg noodles topped with various slices of pork, beef balls, and shrimp. The shrimp were served partially "naked", with a shell only covering their head and tail. My girlfriend ordered a wonton soup or "hoành thánh", which included wontons, chives, lettuce, and a Vietnamese soup broth.

Nice good eats, what I suggest is you get a half hu tieu half mi, together, then add the herb and spicies that u like then add a few spoons of the soup in ya bowl, u will definitely enjoy it more instead of only mi 😀Give it a try next time u eat hu tieu place. Have a nice day!

Restaurants usually add a special sauce to the mì khô to make it tasty. Looks like this place doesn’t have that sauce that you have to spice it up with soy sauce, vinegar and chili pepper
