WHAT A GREAT IDEA!! It would be frickin fantabulous if you could get Kettle, Albon GT, Legally Blind Laddie, WTF1 big-head and other sim-racer mates of yours and do a live 2 hour race with pit-stops (fuel, tire, damage...) with everyone randomly getting a car. I went to watch some EuroBOSS races back in the day, they were great. Scott Mansell of Driver61 channel fame used to very successfully race a Benneton in the series. Still holds the Brands Indy lap record afaik.

11:25 I do think that it's fair to say that incident with the Jordan 191 is far more reminiscent of Andrea de Cesaris especially since he had been a proven "fully weaponized" mobile chicane throughout his entire career. That was how F1 actually was from 1989-1997; V8, V10, and V12 all racing together. Sadly it naturally became V10 only as the teams figured to maximise points across the season you needed a balance of raw power and fuel economy rather than essentially designing a car to virtually guarantee wins Hockenheim/Monza/Silverstone or conversely Monaco/Hungaroring/Catalunya

This was a cool concept and well executed! I'd love to see a little more context like rear view mirror, tires, pedals (either virtual or camera) and radar (helicorsa). Maybe even some post video editing and camera changes using CamTool 2, etc. First person view is still great IMO for watching race craft and sensing the speed, but occasionally it might be fun to see external views of the shenanigans.

This was one of your most entertaining videos yet! I used to do this all the time on Forza Motorsport 4 back when you can choose what cars the CPU was driving, and I’d do it with everything from Mustangs to Honda Civics. Hopefully they bring back that feature someday or better yet in a better Sim racing game! But until then I’ll just have to stick to FM4 or watch more great videos like this!

This was fantastic; I was glued to it. Would be fascinating to see a good and bad car from the same period (the world needs more Andrea Moda and Lola); and I'd love to see the smoke plume and car pulling off of the mid 80s turbos lunching themselves, always kept you watching till the very end...just in case. But seriously, it would be great to see this same grid on a range of different circuits where their various strengths and weaknesses would yield different results.

Loved it! A brilliant concept that you could revisit with different eras of F1 in a sliding scale on different tracks. It would also work with different eras of saloon and touring cars. It'd also work with different eras of sports cars and Le Mans prototypes. You're on to a winning idea with this video! If your car was something like a Toyota TF102 (2002), then it'd have been THE perfect video for me (Toyota fan).
