....I literally just got back from vacationing in Nashville, ate here on Friday for lunch. this is hands down the greatest chicken ever. had the 200 and 400. 400 (heat wise) is like wild at buffalo wild wings. Waited 1.5hrs for our food and would do it again given the chance!

We drove from Louisville last weekend just to eat this chicken. It was the BEST fried chicken I've ever eaten in my life! Going back on March 30th and bringing our granddaughter. (she saw our pics on Facebook and was mad we didn't bring her) Aqui is the sweetest person! Love her and her chicken!

I bet the flour has cornstarch and/or baking powder in it. Cooking the chicken for 18 minutes, heat has to be around 325.

I have a friend of my dad's that Love's Nashville hot chicken him and my dad go at least once a week he lets my dad drive so he can drink on the way there and back that's at princess chicken but he has probably tried every body that claims they have hot chicken but they keep going to princess chicken I only get mild but it's not anuff you can enjoy it dad enjoyes hot he makes the closet dry rub I have found to compares to princess chicken

Dear Nashville, Y'all play to much with that hot chicken. I'm from New Orleans so hot is nothing new to me but Whooooo. That chicken hot. Delish but HOoooooooT. You can try a home version by making some good fried chicken and use the paste/sauce you can easily find from a google search. But don't say you were not warned. Especially the next morning!!!

senorkaboom it's not similar at all. Nashville chicken is amazing. I live in New Orleans which is the food mecca of the world but I went to Nashville once and this was hands down the best chicken I've ever had......nothing like buffalo

@@jodyarmshaw285 Every year on the 4th of July, there is a hot chicken festival in Nashville. Teams compete, similar to a chili or bbq cook off, for the best recipe. The contest is now limited to amateur teams, and local establishments sell their chicken to attendees. The first year there were no limitations on who could compete. Popeye's showed up thinking they would be the automatic choice, but they left early after realizing they were waaay out of their league. The rules were then changed so that folks like Popeye's would not be publicly embarrassed.
