The location they are shooting at for Prince's is the second location that was opened up a few years ago. The original location burnt down in a fire when some drunk lady drove her car into an alcohol and tobacco store located at the strip mall where the original Prince's was located The fire burnt that store down, a nail salon next to it and half of Prince's. As far as I know, the strip mall still hasn't been fixed.

I tried "damn hot" which is the 4th hottest lvl (mild, med, hot, damn hot, and the cluckin) and I was taking like 5 min breaks after every couple of bites, that shit is hot af. I wouldn't wait in that ridiculous line tho, I always order delivery.

You guys definitely tried the good spots in Nashville. Pepperfire was the best in my opinion until they switched management, then the consistency went downhill and now they aren’t even open. Party fowl is wicked hot but taste wise is lacking something and the chicken is on the dryer side. That leaves Hattie Bs and princes. You gotta love princes but often they fry their chicken in the same oil as they fry their fish. Hattie Bs is the most consistent and has the best flavor around, hands down. Their sides are incredible as well. Hattie bs takes my vote!!!

The wings were not 'hot' at all but they were indeed really good and bigger than I expected, served with Ranch dip. The Hot Chicken Sandwich was only mildly spicy but it also was slammin' good and quite filling. With a Sprite that was $22 and I am very glad I went and would go again. But if you are looking for 'spicy' then try Damn Hot or Shut the Cluck Up.

I just went to Nashville for the first time on Memorial Day weekend, 2021. I did three places: Bolton’s, Party Fowl, and Hattie B’s. I got the hottest on the menu at each. At Bolton’s that was the extra spicy - finished it without needing a beverage . At Hattie B’s, I ate the Shut the Cluck Up, their spiciest, without a beverage. To be clear, I’m used to hot, I’ve eaten raw reapers and scorpions and ghosts, and done the Paqui One Chip challenge twice, all without needing a beverage. Let my hot food resume tell you how hot the Poultrygeist - the hottest at Party Fowl - was. I was shaking, trembling, crying, and came THIS CLOSE to throwing in the towel. It took every ounce of willpower I had to finish it. And I had to have a drink continuously. Beer didn’t cut it. I had to switch to those “boozy slushies”. It was mind boggling agony. Five hours later I had stomach cramps and almost threw up. I carry around reaper powder in my backpack. I put Fire on everything. WHAT was in that Poultrygeist?!?!?!
@jenniferbunch35962 жыл бұрын
I feel you. My spice level is probably the same as yours. And the Poultrygeist was the spiciest chicken as well as food I have ever put in my mouth. I have tried all the hottest options at the other chicken places. On their website, they say they make the poultrygiest blend by cooking all the chiles down in the sauce, habanero, ghost pepper, scorpion and reaper. I couldn't finish the whole thing by itself because I knew it would tear my stomach up. I basically added the chicken to other dishes to calm the spice down. 10/10 would buy again lol
@davidmelton37042 жыл бұрын

Yeah you sound like an outsider. All Nashvillians know to go to Prince’s for the best Hot Chicken in town
@AWesker995 ай бұрын
@cashvilletn2370 Prince's fell off bad. They serve old chicken that's been sittin under the lights. Overpriced too. Sides are 🗑. And them birds working there got funky attitudes. Hattie B's is fresh cooked to order, more options, better sides, and more value for the money. Plus they got 90s music on deck. I know Prince's is the O.G. hot chicken spot but they fumbled the bag a long time ago. It's a reason why they stay empty and every Hattie B's in the city has lines out the door. They stay dead even in Assembly Food Hall where the tourists come. Trash.

I live right behind the princes location, but the original location was in east Nashville. I remember sneaking out at like 1 am to go eat hot chicken. Sitting in the original shack hanging out with friends, burning our asses off and then ordering a slice of their strawberry cake to go was the best.

There's one place here in Seattle called Sisters & Brothers that does Nashville hot, but the prices are outrageous-$15 for a sandwich, $26 for a half bird. No thanks!

These two are great. I don't know how you could have such two wonderful presenters here and on your UK version have such two dull people showing restaurants in London! Completely different characters.
