Those mines look so interesting. THe place with the big columns reminded me of the Mines of Moria!

Great vlog. The salt mines looked gorgeous. It is just amazing that most of that is salt. Can't wait for the next video

My mom (from Poland) would tell me about the salt mines and I could never picture it. Your video was grant for me because I could see what she was talking about. She’s long gone but it was nice to be able to see what she saw as a child. Thanks for posting your wonderful videos and travels.

Went to Wieliczka this past summer. It was excellent and totally agree that public transport is super easy….direct bus from the centre. Hunters Stew (bigos) is very tasty 😋

Bigos was really good! We kinda wished we had taken public transportation. Oh well, live and learn!

WOW that salt mine tour looked awesome. Being older I don't think we could do it, that would be so disappointing to miss seeing that. Thanks for the video for those of us that will probably never make it. Always enjoy your food tours, love cakes. Poland is so beautiful especially considering how far they have come from WWII. I watch a lot of WWII history so I'm anxious to see more of your upcoming videos. Your bloopers are my favorite, Kelly I love your faces. Keep up the great videos and stay safe.

Great video! Love Wieliczka Salt Mine. Visited in 2006 and hoping to travel to Poland this coming summer and show it to my kids. I remember eating at the underground restaurant was pretty cool, too. My husband (then boyfriend) and I also went on an additional tour (after the main tourist route) afterwards and loved it, too. Btw, Krakow has a ton of beautiful underground restaurants and bars located in the old cellars.

Thanks so much! We had a great time in the mines, hopefully you can get there soon to show it to your kids!

Thank you for sharing, it brought back fond memories of being there in 2017 - a random $254rt fare from Chicago (why not??!!) took us there and we had the grandest time. Like your videos!

Hi guys, loving your videos of Poland! I’m hopefully heading there later this year, fingers crossed! I’m interested to hear that you thought the mines would be warmer inside compared to outside, as I had read the opposite. Were you correct? Also, did you find the floor or steps slippery at all? Safe travels!! Cheers. Marg
@TheAwkwardTourists2 жыл бұрын
The temperature in the mine is about 60-65 year round, so it depends on what time of the year you travel. it was warmer for us, as we went in the middle of winter, but if you go during the summer, it would be colder than outside
