Coming from her newer videos which are all captioned with no speaking I jumped a little at the beginning not expecting to hear her speaking😅 such a nice change up and to see how she’s grown in her video style as well as general decorating styles. I can really see how she’s grown over the past few years!

I loved hearing your voice in this video! The apartment is so well planned Your parents must be so proud of you to leave your home country and build a new life for yourself in Japan. How did you decide upon moving to Japan and what caused you to be attracted to Japan for your single life? It sounds like you had to work hard at it - getting a job, finding a place to live and learning to do all of those things in a new language. I think you are AMAZING!!

I just watched your last two videos a few days ago. I enjoyed them a lot so I thought I would watch from the beginning. You have made a lot of videos and it will be fun catching up. Your apartment is very nice. It would cost a lot more for a one bedroom here in the United States. $400 is so reasonable. The same here would be about $1000 a month. It's horrible and they are not as nice as yours. Thank you for the tour. I appreciated you showing how to use all your appliances. It was interesting. Thank you for sharing with us. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you that you speak exceptional english. 😸

The parcel box is such a clever design! I’m in 🇬🇧and have a brick & windows enclosed front porch, not like us style. The door into there is always unlocked, we only lock the main front door. People on my street no I work from home so will add notes to orders saying leave it in my porch. Most of the delivery people in my area leave them in there anyway, sometimes it looks like a post sorting office 😂 if I see a delivery and I’ve seen someone go out, or their order being taken back to a van I call out to them 😂 years of teaching and being loud without shouting has come in useful 😂 I did once arrange with one neighbour to have some fun with his gf 😂 let’s say I wrapped up a long cuboid box and I’d been friendly teasing her about was she sending adult things to my porch. I text to say a parcel had arrived and handed her it. Then I said it had been making a buzzing noise 😂😂😂 I got a text back saying she liked the joke 😂

Why is it that Japan has such modern toilets with a lot of great features and American toilets just flush? I've seen one home in my life with a bidet but it was about the same size as the toilet and situated next to it so it took more space. Apparently there are bidets one can order online that are plastic and fit in the toilet someplace but still not like the Japanese types!! Thank you for some great ideas for eating. I live alone as well.
