It's a sensational lying video. The helicopter shot they showed is actually herd of deer, and wolf packs hardly ever get up to 20 individuals. Most packs are under 7 (not counting the pups from that season) Wolf pack is actually a family with mom, dad and survived pups from the previous seasons who weren't pushed out of their pack for behavior or didn't leave to seek a mate to start their own pack. Wolf pack will not tolerate or accept non blood related wolf into the pack. So these "super packs" are just a myth. The only canines that do form super packs are spotted dogs and hyenas. Both of them have multi family structures with their own hierarchy that closer resembles in dynamics family structure of apes and monkeys

They would comb an area where the tiger was believed to be. Military with guns spaced out with locals with clubs. I remember asking Dad "What if the tiger attacked you?" Dad soberly responded, "You hoped your buddy could shoot straight." And then Dad was quiet. And Dad was a talkative guy. Years later I reflect on the selflessness of all those men. Putting themselves in harms way for the benefit of others. Sumatran tigers are smaller and only are 200 to 250 pounds. I still don't think I want to meet one with a club though.

@ronconnor26943 жыл бұрын
@@saltycat662 Not necessarily. I doubt humans would be in danger, but you do have a point. Back in the Middle Ages wolves killed a lot of people. They were the most dangerous animal in Europe. However now, they would most likely just kill livestock first. There’s a reason American settlers exterminated the vast majority of wolves here. If they didn’t, they would have no food. It’s almost impossible to protect cows, sheep, whatever from wolves. Coyotes are easy prey for a few large farm dogs. They are also easy to shoot and keep away. Wolves are a lot smarter, larger, and more aggressive. They know how to get around humans. The wolves reintroduced to the Rocky Mountains and western US are such a huge problem for farmers, that they are about to be take off the endangered species act. So farmers/hunters can hunt them freely. I know some farmers already do. No one knows about it though, since they would get in big trouble.

They say there are very few human deaths from wolves (If I recall one source even claimed less than one hundred worldwide in all of recorded history smh). For one thing, a rifle with a rear sight would be a bit more effective. And for another, for anyone feeling sorry for the wolves: imagine when you were in grade school. How horrific would it have been to be terrified before eaten alive by wolves. They don't particularly kill their prey before they start eating. I've seen them bring down an elk and start eating it from the ass while the elk is alive and totally aware. I love wolves but a superpack is an unnatural phenomenon that is devastating and dangerous to the area.

Well said. I was thinking these same things. And yes, wolves and coyotes begin eating (from the ass end) as soon as they tire/cripple their prey. The prey animal is fully aware and while fully experiencing being literally torn apart. There are thousands of game camera and witness footage posted on KZbin to prove it. People who think they should be brought back should be doing their research on this stuff. Wolves were a huge problem in the past. Let’s NOT bring that BS back.
