Daniel Hendrix 3.6 is a totally different platform, so the mods on the 2.0 will not fit the 3.6

hikeskool To get the 400whp on the 2.0T is around 5k with labor. There are a couple different ways to achieve that power. ZZP stage 1 kit, intercooler, ZFR turbo, e85...is one way.

I've got a CTS-V in manual and my wife has the 3.6L ATS. I test drove the 2.0T in manual, great chassis, in need of some more go. Turbo felt weak, glad to see one with some upgrades, I think it's a great car and will be interesting as they get cheaper and in the hands of more tuners.

I really like those 1Takes in the canyons but I just love the 1Takes on track. I really appreciate Matt's opinion on all those cars because it is honest and by someone who knows what he is talking about. Those 1Takes are really good buying advice on the cars and also on the performance parts, brakes and tires. I hope there are a lot more to come (Maybe an E9x M3 One Take one day?)

Love it, my ats is 332hp and 355 tq, I have had a blast with it. Stock they run 13.87 1/4 at 98 mph, I know I've done mine. With my mods and drag radials I run 12.91 1/4 miles. And with pilot super sports it out handles a lot of other cars on track.

You mean Europe/Germany doing a good job. The Cadillac brand has been German/Australian for a long time. Still mostly German now. Some models are getting built in China though. The Caddy ATS has been in Europe since 2001... it's just newto the states.

It would have been unheard of in the 90's for a Cadillac to have a 2 liter engine, of course omitting the Cimarron (not really a Caddy anyways), and be trackable. This car is the exact opposite of the old Cadillac land yacht stereotype. It's really fascinating to see how much Cadillac has changed from my Grandpa's car to a car I'd like to own.

I was shocked at how well that thing gets up and goes and looking at the mods available...I'm thinking chevy needs to get their head in the game if they don't want ford to runaway with the turbo game in their pony cars.

I own a 2014 ATS 2.0 with porno red (morello red) inferior and carbon fiber. All stock, this car is really an amazing sports sedan. It was incredible in the snow and it’s amazing through windy roads with INCREDIBLE braking power. It’s the new 3-Series (just my opinion) Owned since new and never had an issue outside of warranty. Cadillac service is the only reason I wouldn’t own one inside of warranty ever again. They are the worst. Truly, the worst service department. Lexus and BMW owner experience are top notch.

Benedocta I was thinking the same thing...snow and ice are the only reasons to ever buy all season tires for a performance car. If you live somewhere that never gets snow, there is never a reason to buy an all season tire.

Matt, wouldn't summer tires outperform all-season tires in the rain anyway? They are designed to perform in the wet and dry conditions, unless the car was fitted with some semi-slicks hence the need for the change.

Well it has an aftermarket exhaust manifold, the turbo isn’t stock, the exhaust isn’t stock, I saw front mount intercooler and I’m sure it’s been tune as I can also see the e85 sensor…

I had the same tc problem in the frs at gmr. An easy controlled 4 wheel slide with tc/vsc disabled got corrected top understeer by the computer

In watching, I am noticing some suspension undulation in the corners. Seems like the chassis doesn't want to set once in the corner. Might be some adjustments in the coilover suspension needs a bit more attention.

Vossens are just for looks and breaking. Had them on my car and wow what a huge difference in weight. The ats is a fun car but if you were to compare to a bimmer for example, the engine of the ats has no character/sound.

You can do that yes, but you lose abs, traction, and stability control all at once. It also comes with a very annoying mil light that keeps saying "service traction control", "service abs", and "service stability control".

SnapCrackleDie The turbo is not large. It is a borgwarner EFR 7163 with a divided housing. Read up on them is you don't know much about them. They are very impressive turbochargers. I my opinion they have everything beat. I built a twin scroll manifold for it and it also has our cams and springs, upgraded intercooler, zzp flex fuel conversion, zzp tune, turbo back exhaust, brake upgrade 6pot front 4pot rear, zzp turbo intake. Just bolt-on parts no internal motor work has been done unless you consider cams internal.
