🟣🟣 PLEASE READ 🟣🟣 As mentioned at 00:30 there is a Game Save available for download for PC players. (Check the Description) This is why your game does not have the exact same locations active as shown in the video. So, if you are on PC, go get the Game Save, download it (it has instructions with it) and then play on that game save and follow this guide. If you are on GamePass or Console the Game Save Download will not work for you. So, you will need to start a new game until you have a map similar to the map I currently have. The locations are on a random respawn timer, so even if they are not in your game at the beginning (if you are not using the download save) they will have a chance to spawn with each passing season. If you are on GamePass or Console, I do have many other guides that can be very helpful. One being my "2000 coin First Day" guide. As much as I like you showing all the loot spots , (afaik) they are all randomly generated so you may not get any of them , the doctors camp towards Hornica is ALWAYS there

Yes, all of these locations are random as to when they are available, but I spent the time finding the right game save so the player does not need too. 😉

Nas, great video. I didn’t know a few of those! For people not feeling like they need to rush it in 1 day: There is another small trunk cache of coins near the first camp. Top of the waterfalls, west side. Just don’t go across the river- boar. Another is to go to the first junction east of Gostovia then go straight south up the hill. There is a trunk there too. Both of those seem to always be there, no matter the starting RNG.

Just a heads up for anyone downloading the save file (guess anyone starting a new game as well), there's a chest with some coins and ore as well as a shovel near the starting location. As you turn around and start heading down the road towards the Location 1 in the video it's just to the right, maybe 15-20m from spawn location.

I Set my 1st season to 3 days longer than normal to grind stone knives, chop 800 ish logs, get 1200 ish stones, the get 800 ish straw. Just to have a decent start up. Have done this for 3 start up now and really helps me get to the 10 buildings points with np.

I would recommend keeping a potion of sobriety because you will need it for a quest later on and it helps not having to spend about 200-300 coin for a mission

Good tip, but it is pretty easy to make money (Hence the title of "4000 coins First Day"). So, by the time you need the potion, spending wouldn't be much of a problem. Also, by the time you get to the mentioned quest, you could have a villager collect the needed items and craft the potion yourself in the Herbalist Hut. There are a few ways to handle getting items of most quests in the game. Thanks again for your tip. 😊👍

@@superghost3736 I understand, it is all in the personal play style of each person. However, I do like there are options to acquiring the needed items, like the sobriety potion. The Alwin Archery tournament and needing to pay 100 coins each time, does fit the story and speaks to Alwin's emotions during this transition phase of his life. Alwin, is feeling inferior to Racimir and his hunting and bow skills. So, he comes up with this side hustle to try and show Racimir he is a better archer. This is where the games story is supposed to feel more immersive for the player. Needing to pay for each round of the tournament calls into question the players skill with a bow. This is why the archery target is a craft able item in the game,. It allows the player to fail the first part of the tournament, go build a target at your village and practice before returning to the tournament. You can also practice at the tournament target without actually participating in the quest until you are ready. When I first did this part of Alwin's quest, I probably spent at least 1000 coins, mainly because I was hard headed and determined to win. However, I also understand that this type of mechanic in a game is not everyone's "Cup of Tea". Thanks again for your reply, Happy Hunting 😊😊

Hey, just following up. It took 3 season changes but I finally got the camp with the recurve bow. It had everything as you described. In my game it was in a different location but it was there. I see other differences too. On my first day I found one of the broken carts. 3 season changes later in that same location the cart was gone and there were 3 logs so perfect they looked like modern utility poles. There was also an iron axe with them and a bottle of meade. Loving the game. When it dropped for PC I watched some streams and knew I'd play it. I was looking at upgrading my PC when I saw it was dropping for console. Well, thank you for the excellent videos.

If you are playing this game through your XBox PC Game Pass account, the save files are not accessible so you cannot use the provided save files... Although it is an interesting guide and very thorough, if the game is installed through some platforms, like Game Pass, keeping you from using the provided save files, then this guide will be mostly useless...

when you get to tutki instead of going straight left go to the island just past it for a with some coin and a shovel, and then run along the coast to the next camp there is a lost shipment a plank and a barrel just a little ways down from the island

Re your starting location suggestions...there is a small drawback with the 2 inland locations you suggested...straw and water sources are a bit of a walk away. Water, of course, can be mitigated by putting down a well, but felt it should be mentioned. Also, at the 4th location....there is predominantly (by which I mean about 95%) only birch trees. So you have to cut down a metric poop ton of trees to get logs. Otherwise, excellent guide. :)

Is there a game save for after you run around? I've started the game a few times over and I hate to run around for an hour getting everything. If someone has a save just after the last sale (before you start the building and stuff) that would be great!

Unfortunately I've tried to follow this guide on xbox series x and a lot of the locations have no loot. There's not even the camp at the bottom of the waterfall. Perhaps these location based loot are only there on PC.

I did provide a game save download for players to load into their game and follow along with the video 00:30 Unfortunately, the download is not able to be shared with console players. So, the locations are available for every platform but they will only spawn randomly at season change.

For Console players without a gamesave: 1. Start a new game. 2 save. 3 make a screenshot of the map with phone. 4. Walk through the areas of the video and check if the carts/camps spawned there. 5 mark those points on your phone map. 6 reload and walk your own best route.

Nice helpful video ty. I always pick up sticks and stones as I travel here and there. Have made 5,760 coin in 1 day just by grinding out Stone knives. Added to that I also made around 2,000 from loot I got at chests and abandoned camps

@@HecticNasari It was with unl. weight and stamina. But then I switched to normal settings except with fast crafting on the 3rd day. I play 5 day season. So my 1st spring I play for 7 days. 5 + 2 days of grinding. My premise is no one travels back then to begin a new life without money to begin it with. Also if you understand that with everything Racimer can craft and build on the 1st day, there is no way He could have been poor. Also in those days, Successful farmers were well off, not just carrying around pocket change.

I only turn on unlimited weight if i'm continually working on a big project. I do like your idea of 2 days worth of grinding, that is a big help to get started.

Great locations guid, but I beg to differ on the village location start building area. There are two different location areas that are much better, one is where you found that cave that is above Brianica it has a fast travel wagon close by and also a cave for mining resources and has fairly good ground for building. The second one that is a bit more dangerous because there is a bear close by the lake east of Hornica, on the far side or right side of the lake and a bit down on the map is a another cave that can be mined.

Thank you for watching, and I'm sure there are better areas to build for a first settlement. Please keep in mind this video was produced a year ago and the Wagoneer was not even part of the game yet. However, there are many locations around the map that are great to build. There is no cookie cutter type of building pattern for this game. Each player can build how they see fit. I also, have three other videos about build locations and each video has three locations featured in them. So, there is a good chance I might have mentioned your suggested areas. I first followed this guide with a mid(ish) level character, found everything mentioned in this video plus a few more places with good loot along the way. I followed this guide again with a new character right from day one as per the advice. Hardly anything was there. In my game it’s currently 04:53 on day 2 & my poor Racimir still has nowhere to lay his head. Playing on Xbox1x if that makes any difference.

i have this same save and I don't know if anyone has said but. across the creek at the cart before the cave there is two other item's A torch but no one really wonts the rot i always grab the just so i wont forget about it later.

I'm literally following along with the video and thought the title came from the bag of coins under the stones around 5:50. That bag had 4k coins in it for me. Also, there is a chest at the top of the waterfall on the way to the waterfall camp.

I dont know if I was very unlucky with my map generation or if they changed the spawns in game, but I just ran through all stops in this guide and none of the camps where there as well as 80% of busted carts. :/ sad days

00:30 There is a game save available for download in the description for PC only. All locations are on a random spawn timer, so that is why I made this save available. I believe it took me 25+ new game starts to find the game with all of these locations available on day one. Unfortunately, if you are a console player, you will not be able to use the game save I provided. I don't understand why I go to many of the locations you show - but there is nothing for me. Missing carts, missing barrels, etc. I went to the cave you mentioned that should have had the axe sticking out of the wall (or mining pick) and there was nothing, no ore, no axe) Does the game generate a different map each time you start a new game?

You need to download the game save I mentioned in the beginning of the video and play on that game save. Otherwise you will get a random setup and will not have the same outcome as me. There is a link to Google Drive in the video description for the exact game save I am playing on in the video. The download also comes with instructions on how to load it into your Steam game.

You can see all of the bug fixes in the update note for the game on Steam. I am not aware thee was a tax bug. Any quests that have a time limit will be listed in the description of the quest. Open your journal, highlight said quest, check the upper right above the quest description. This is where to look for time limits.

No way to extend the length of a single day. You can only extend the length of the season.

In the opposite direction of the cave with the pick ax, all way to end of the stream, is a chest with coin and a bottle of wine sitting on the chest. The chest is by the tree and hidden by straw.

Hey Hectic Nasari! I just stumbled onto this video today, Medieval Dynasty just came out for PS5 a few days ago and I am trying out the game for the first time. I followed along with your video, but none of the carts existed in my game where they are in your video, and several items are missing as well (the cave for example has no tools or ore)... I am not sure if this is because the layout is different between PC and PS5 or if items and cart locations are randomly generated each time you start a new game. Is this the reason you included the game save file in the description? Any help would be appreciated!

All the locations shown in the video are for PC and console, Although these locations will spawn randomly on a new game creation and during season change. Do you have a map that I can print out, as going to video and back to game, I would need to save game and exit and view video and see where the carts are, then back into game to find where the carts are at.

I do not have a printable map that shows these locations. If you are on PC you can open inventory to pause the game, then you should be able to ALT + TAB to change from the game window to your browser window to view the video. There are time stamps in the video description so you can jump right to the next location. Hope this helps.

There have been some guides and maps created by other player over on the MD Steam community page. I have not checked them lately to see if they have been updated though.

You do not need to have the knife equipped for skinning animals. I like to equip my knife so it has the red circle indicator on it, that way I don't accidentally sell the knife I want to keep.

This is not a Console friendly version as the game save download mentioned at 00:30 in the video isonly for PC. Each loot location reguardless of console or PC is a random spawn. So with each new game or each season change there is a chamce they will spawn. If you are on consle, then you might find my 2000 coin on 1st day video which you can find in my Medieval Dynasty Tips and tricks playlist.

What are the chances the version that just dropped for consoles is different than your PC game? I followed the path you laid out. Found the broken wagons. Found the items in the cave. None of the bandit camps are there. Didn't find and of the coin stashed. Guessing they've made changes to the customization options as well. I viewed a number of PC playthroughs and all show both content and customization options I don't find on Xbox. Curious if anyone else is seeing this.

Yes this does work. As mentioned in the video 00:30, there is a Game Save available for download (PC Only). If you are on console, then all locations have a chance to spawn randomly at each season change. As for the customization options, I would not know of any changes between PC and Console because i do not play console. . I would imagine ther could be a difference because it is two different platforms. However, that does not change what locations are in the game, nor does it change when and where they spawn. Other than the ability to turn off Bandits.

@@HecticNasari I tried bandits on and off thinking that might have something to do with the camps. I'm going to guess the devs have made some changes to the version ported to console. There are a few vids out there with starting cash themes. Many are the same locations with different paths in some cases. What I viewed were uploaded before the port to console. All produce the same result. For example, the 3 falls locations. All show the bandit camp there. I only find the broken wagon. I tried a number of new starts but no camp. I really wanted that recurve lol. I'll try again this evening. See if it's an RNG thing maybe. In the PC vids the camps all have an abandoned look. That's why I tried it with and without the bandits. Didn't know if that might be a part of it. On the settings part foliage as an example. I get only 2 options. Neither are to thin the foliage. On the locations do you feel it's an RNG/spawn thing that I haven't found the items or is it more likely the items were dropped in the porting process. No matter, I've waited for this one to come to console since it dropped on PC. Thank you for the vids. You do them very well.

@@papeep2694 The Bandit setting only turns Bandits on or off, it doen't affect the abandon camps at all. Again, All the loot locations like abandon camps, piles of rocks with shovel, busted carts, items along the roads etc. these are all on a random spawn timer. I know this for a fact because the devs have told me so. They will not always spawn each seaason, but they will have a chance to spawn at season change. For this video it took me over 25 New game starts to get this set-up.

Just watched one of your older vids and there the stone pile in the "bald spot" of the mountain had a larger stash and you did mention "if it isn't here reload and try again". You need to download and install the gaem save I provided, as mentioned here 00:32 in the video. Otherwise you will not have the same results and loot locations will be different.

While I appreciate the attempt the spawns for camps and carts are random(fixed spawn points but limited spawns per season) so this doesn't always work. I had to sell stone knives to get my pack and pouch, as only one cart and one money pouch had spawned of the locations you gave before Branica. Also they seem to have removed the barrels in many places(along the river, the road, the mine entrance, etc.) Thanks though, fun to watch.

I am aware that the spawn locations are fixed, but spawn randomly at the start of a season. This is why I made the game save available for download. If you download the game save (Google Drive link in the description of this video) and then follow the video, you will have everything I showed. If you did not download the game save, then you will have a different outcome than the video.

If you are playing a different game save than the one I made available with this video, then you will probably not have the same location spawns as are shown in the video. The carts, and camps along with several other loot items around the map are a random spawn. In order for me to find the game save shown in the video, I have to re make a new game and run the entire map looking for the locations no less than 25 times. This is why I make the game save available, that way you (the player) don't have to re make your games that many times. As for not being able to pick up the torch, I would suggest logging out of steam and the log back in to steam. Then verify the medieval dynasty game files. If the problem continues, then I would suggest reporting the bug to Toplitz on their Discord page. You can find a link to that on the Medieval Dynasty store page or on the Toplitz website. First it was the beta version than I realize that was wrong so i took off that one and started the normal one than played. Maybe I need to uninstall and completely start on a new one. I did follow the instructions you gave but I am not sure how to access the map so maybe it is not right. or the save games. I am sorry Hectic thank you for answering me. Well than my game must be broke or have a bug on Steam. I have tried many times and even downloaded your two downloads to start on your map. Still no matter what I do, I only get the coins in hundreds and not the thousands you are getting. Why?

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. The reason I am making so many coins is that I am selling off several items when I reach a vendor. I do explain when at the vendors, my suggestions on what you should keep and what you can sell. If you are not selling the same items, then the amount you make can vary from the video.

The thumbnail, Title and Description of that video all has some sort of notification that the 9000 coin was "Nerfed". I left the video up for people to find the locations easier. For the most coins on the first day, this video we are commenting on is the best. Just make sure to download the game save and follow the guide. Also, make sure you are not on the Public Test Branch.

All of the locations are there, even on Xbox. They are random spawns. Not all locations will spawn at the same time either. I had to start a new game more times than I wanted to count, just to get so many of the items in my video to spawn. So, just because you do not have all the items that are shown in my video, does not mean they are not there. They all have a chance to spawn each season.

Love this video very much, found it extremely helpful. Only problem is, I go to the locations and they aren't there at all, meaning I have no spawns in any of these locations. I go to known ones (cart with wheat by Gostovia) and it is also not there. The locations shown in the video will spawn randomly at the creation of a new game and during season change. It took me more than 25 tries to get this exact map with all these locations spawned. If you are on PC there is a game save available for download in the description of the video. Unfortunately, the download will not work with console. Vendors are located in every village on the map. Tavern, kitchen, blacksmith, hunter, miner they will have the appropriate icon on the compass at the top of the screen. That way you can easily identify them.

The game is available for PC and Console. This video was published before Console was available for the game and there is a game save available for download in the description of this video, so this is what makes this guide "PC Friendly". All loot locations are randomly generated when they spawn.

All locations like the ones in this video will respawn. However, not all locations spawn at the same time nor do they respawn every year. Once a loction does spawn, that location will hang around for two years before despawning reguardless if you loot it or not. Then once the location despawns it will go back into the random spawn pool and will be given a random chance to respawn again. There are tons of these locations around the map, so make sure to explore. Also, remember these locations are not just next to the roadways, they can be out in the wild as well.

Which means that PC and gamepass shared saves can not be loaded into console games. From what I understand this is something that is beyond the developers ability to change because it is tied directly to the console manufactures format of the game files. However, the locations shown in all my videos are still relevant. They will just spawn randomly at season changes. There are so so many locations around the map. Did you download and install the Game Save I provided as mentioned at 00:30 ? If you are playing on PC then you can download the Save Files I provided and it will be the exact map I play in the video and all locations will be there. Unfortunately, if you play on Gamepass or Console, the Save files will not work for you. In this case each new game you start, the locations I show in my video may not be active at the beginning. This would require you to do what I did for this video. Keep loading a new game and run around to see if the locations are available. I created mor than 25 new games to find this map just for my video guide. This is why I made the game save download available for viewers. Although, each location is a random spawn with a chance to spawn each season, so if they are not active at the beginning of the game for you, then each season they will have a chance to become active.
