I come from an era when video games were supposed be relaxing and enjoyable so it's sad to see what COD has become. It's really disorienting watching other people play now as if their entire future is on the line every game. MW2 (2009) and Black Ops 1 were such great times. We couldn't appreciate what we had until it was gone.

Been playing COD since OG MW2 watching your vids. I've come to accept SBMM, telling myself in each match, "Yes, I'm that good and why I'm swimming with these sharks." and I play it out and keep it moving. I can't play hours on end though, the heavy focus gets exhausting. There is no casual play anymore.

It was MW2. The open beta specifically. Anyway I queued for some games and eventually realized that I was going up against tryhards, even though I can't average a 2.0 k/d. I think if you have the capacity to simply aim, that makes you eligible for pro league skirmishes.
