For all his Primarch abilities, Guilliman isn't infalliable, and must choose where to best place his talents. Perhaps he is making the wrong choice, but I fear that Even Dante would not have the political capital or skills to deal with trying to get the Imperium's shit together and deal with the high lords. I'm not really convinced Guilliman does either.

I always assumed Guilliman put Dante in charge of all forces in Imperium Nihillus. Not like Dante hasn't done things like that before, multiple chapters agreed to his lead during one of the wars of Armegeddon.

First off, impressive work as always good sir. Secondly, I find it interesting that once again, Guilliman is showing just how flawed he is by failing the Blood Angels and Imperium Nihlus. Just like during the Heresy, when he formed 'Imperial Secundus' with the Lion and the Angel, Guilliman is too focused on holding what he has already secured over venturing forth to push back the Darkness. Whatever issues I might have with the current Imperium (and I have a LOT) Chaos can NOT be allowed to run rampant, it MUST be opposed no matter where it is found. That said, perhaps an Empire builder, an 'Avenging Son' is not what the Blood Angels and Imperium Nihlus need. Perhaps what they need is the return of an experienced Pratorian, a Primarch that knows how to take and hold ground, secure it before charging forward once more.

I love all space marine chapters/legions. And I love all Warhammer factions/armies. But, no matter where I go through the community or the books, I always find myself resting among the Blood Angels. If I ever save up the money, I'll probably make them my first army.

This was the best way to sit in traffic. Big accident on I90 and Lord Baldemort helped me get through this bumper to bumper Mess. I think of my death company army that charged gun lines in 6th and 7th edition. I miss the black armored army of blood but now I roll with a Green tide. Waaaaaaagh!! Commander Dante is not alone anymore, I believe the Lion will continue to cut down every demon, xeno and heretic in the dark Imperium. I am curious to see if he will defeat Fulgrim next. Eventually he will have to start putting kill silhouettes on his armor for each of the demon primarchs.

Thank you for this glorious vid. Though I find myself forced to say, Bobby G definitely has some missteps. That said I feel it unfair to suggest that he should have taken Noctilus and sent Dante to Terra. We already know that there are forces at work trying to usurp Guilliman. Wasn't it something like half the High Lords who were preparing to overthrow him? Dante is a great hero but as the Celestial Lions can attest to... Warp drives can be crazily unstable and "accidents" do happen. Just like Ork snipers with precision high-power laser weapons.

Yeah... Guilliman essentially made Dante the sole Sheriff of the entire US West, and that enormous territory is overrun with 100.000 bandit-groups. Guilliman and Dante both knew it was an impossible job from the start.

The blood angels are why I got into Warhammer. What's more I was so excited when I realized that these guys in the story are my guys! 4th Company and Capt Raphaen. I have a custom jump pack captain that I introduce to my opponent as Capt. Raphaen. As of now he has an impressive kill count of 3 large tau mechs, 2 great demons, and 4 tyranid mosters. He is always accompanied by is vanguard veterans well in the air Or his blade guard veterans while on foot. My battlefield may be graced by Commander Dante ever so often, but I never leave home without the captain of the fourth company.

Ah, the noble Blood Angels, my first and favourite chapter ever since my tentative steps clumping clumsily into a Space Hulk back in the nineties - with poorly painted armour and painfully basic weapons. I devoured all stories about these most virtuous and honourable Space Marines, learning that the 'weakness' of their curse was in fact, their strength. Another cracking saga from the Emperors own scribe - Brother Baldermort. It's a cruel world.

I hear you Baldermort and I love the pasion. But consider this: GW put Dante where he is for a reason. Because the best person for the Cicatrix Maledictum for the empire is currently dead. But many have come back to life in 40k. I think, probably not the next primarch to do so, but at some point Sanguinius is coming back. And the only person that can hold Imperium Nihilus together until then is Dante. Lion El'Jonson isn't guaranteed to return to Terra either, at least not immediately. I love the Bobby G hate, but there is just no way Dante could take control of Terra. Dante despite his status, would not have been able to retire the High Lords. Don't get me wrong, not an Ultramarines fan..bit credit where it's dur, Gulliman is crusading to try and save what he can. When he game Nihililus to Dantez he did so because he didn't know the Lion was back, and he was the best and only man fornthe job. From everything I've seen, Robo Girlyman doesn't want to be in charge, but it's gotta be a him, or Lion With the return of the Lion, I honestly think the best thing would be for Lion to stay on the dark side of the Rift to kick Ass with Dante, and leave Big G to organise the things that need to be organised

Im sure Guilliman did it because of all the scions of the Emperor, Dante will fight the hardest to keep his humanity. More so even that himself. And that is what must prevail in the places the Astronomicon does not shine.

Donte is equal to the challenge.. I think it would have been disrespectful for gilleman, to take the blood angel's home.. He has already demonstrated that when the blood angels need him. He will show up, but let those warriors guard their house in a way only they can do

Only a warrior would think Dante has the harder task while Roboute is the coward. Dante would stand no chance in hell in managing the politics of Terra. Awesome story as always Balders!
