Neither is a clone. The ghost was the last scooter where Apollo took an off the shelf white label scooter and sold it under their brand name. So it's more like both (and a few more companies) just add their name to this design. Good price to performance though on a tested design.

I always get a smile from watching your videos😄. As a DUALTRON STORM owner, my opinion: first and foremost CONSIDER after-sales support. If satisfied with it, I would say that one may experience, possibly quickly, a few issues with wiring/switches on this model as they don’t seem “robust”. Suspension: while stiffness may seem irritating, initially, even the notoriously stiff Dualtron suspension softens up after some riding, but as I notice the closely wound springs I wonder PLUS no give could increase the instance of breakage. And speaking of brakes, ZOOMs are, pretty much, all-or-nothing which can work really well with a correctly dialed-in e-brake. Lighting--ALL scooters need better headlights for night riding. And lastly, the performance level is for someone looking for a nice cruise around the extended neighborhood, but I’d opt for street tires for smoothness, as I feel that off-roading may be detrimental to the suspension of this particular scooter. It’s just a marketing ploy. Hell, I’d NEVER even take my STORM off road. Not really made for it..

Ausom has great support. They give you a 1 year warranty for free and have a complete part catalogue for all of their scooters where you can order any part you want.
@donscott64312 ай бұрын
@@nunyabusiness9013 Sounds great. Everyone should be able to do SOME work on their scooters without freighting back to the company and parts availability is, of course, necessary for that. I also found the angle of the scooter’s stem to be a possible plus. For the money, I’d say a much better choice than, say, NanRobot: of which I have had 3; still own the old 48V X-4 and the 52V D5+2.0🙂

35 MPH on my very post engineered full suspension , hydraulic disk brakes feels very fast. The frame and tires of my Ebike could handle 45 MPH (warp speed). I also agree with the other reviews of 2WD high end E-scooters, one does not want to go over 40MPH with these vehicles. Having punch-out ability and quality handling / suspension is way more important than top end speed.
@jasongreen21202 ай бұрын
I changed the tiers on mine to road tread , much more quieter and good in the dry but not so good on a wet road, works very well, but feels like it could go faster if battery was changed to the 60v size, has the option in the settings to do so, not sure if the speed controllers would cope with the extra volts , these scooters do come with the 60v option and the two type of brakes, I do find the brake pads dont last very long, and after doing 1000k distance I have used two sets and on my 3rd set of pads. over all a good setup.

@camgriffin52392 ай бұрын
Nothing wrong w a "fast enough" scooter, just have to set your expectations accordingly. Scooters are advertised at their best in ideal conditions, but electric vehicles lose performance as the battery depletes, and torque curves peak before top speed is reached. EG a "41mph" scooter will feel powerful up to 30-35, then creep up on top speed with ideal circumstances (light rider, flat terrain), and these numbers will creep down as you ride through your battery's volts. So if you want to go 30ish and feel powerful most of the time, get a 40mph/60v scooter. If you want to go actual 40 and feel powerful through a whole charge, you'll need a 60mph/72v scooter.
@ramborambokitchenkitchen63572 ай бұрын
I noticed this on my 52v 2000w ebike, it can hit like 39mph on flat ground with a full battery but by the time it’s below 20% remaining I’m lucky to see 28mph.
@camgriffin52392 ай бұрын
@@ramborambokitchenkitchen6357 Yeah, you got it. In use, the top numbers don't last the whole battery. I ride a 72v Teverun Fighter Supreme and I'll never try to reach it's top speed (63 officially, I've been in the 50s), I ride 20-45mph mostly and never see the end of the torque curve, all I wanted.

I bought items due to this channel. Eahora, and reddydy scooter, so I'm going to say the truth. 1200$ for a scooter that only gives you 10 miles. Realistically, taking 7 to 12 hrs to charge is just not worth it! You are better off saving a few more hundred dollars and getting a longer range scooter. I see this all the time' items over a 1000$ that you can only ride.' Maybe two hrs a day is robbery. As well people need to understand when something goes wrong with these E scooters and bikes. You are on your own fixing it. Sure a shop may do breaks but that's about it. If your motor goes, you better know how to replace it, and most likely, you will. "Cheap motors" only last so long, and you better have some knowledge.
