410 vs 28 Gauge Shotgun.. Which Calibre is Best?? Let's find out!!

We put the 410 and 28 gauge head to head to see which one performed best on some clay targets.
They are both awesome calibres and certainly turned the clays to dust when we put the lead in the correct place!
Mike was on form and I was trying my hardest to get inside his head but it didn't work.. The man is a machine!
We had a lot of fun making this video! I hope you enjoy watching it.

Clearly it’s not about which gauge is best, it’s about who shot best on the day. Both perfectly capable of smoking those targets, but look at how much fun you both had. Now that’s priceless. Great to watch, enjoyed that. Thank you.👍

It would be interesting to see you do a pattern test with the 28, like you did recently with the 410.

I had a Miroku 28 bore which I shot with 19g loads, hit clays at 50 yards plus with no problem. However, my average on decoy corvids and pigeon dropped from an average of 70% with my 12 bore to just over 50% with the 28 bore, plus ammo cost more, so sold the 28 bore.

Great video could you tell us more about 410 and the 28 what’s the difference and what they are best for. And how much does it cost for your days shooting. As I want to apply for my license but I need a light gun and gun for beginner with thanks. Johnathan

You would more than likely be better looking at a Game twenty bore or 12g semi auto
