Summary (20th): Hazel tells Aaron of her plans and sees he too could have the travel bug.
Summary (23rd): Aaron has slept on Hazel's sofa and Bob is concerned about her plans to take him travelling. When Aaron goes round later, he sees that all of Hazel's boxes are packed. She finally plucks up the courage to ask him to go with her. Aaron leaves hastily and takes out his anguish by hurting himself - wanting relief from the pressure he feels.

I really like how Danny portrays the pressure Aaron is unser and how it builds up inside of him, till he can't controlle his disorder and he has to give in.... Poor boy.

The look on Aarons face when Hazel told him she's moving on. Can tell he is hurt by the soft spoken of his voice. The shock when he realized she wasn't kidding about having him come with. They both have kept their promise to Jackson to look out for each other, and have done a good job of it. She also knows that Aaron has not really healed from Jackson's death. A person never really heals and will always have that one empty space. But in time pain eases and one can be happy and enjoy things. A process that takes time. Why Aaron do you have to harm yourself. Pain I see, but you didn't need to slam your head against the door. Pressure of going with Hazel and knowing you have family here is tearing him apart. Scream, howl, just let it out and let it go until you can no longer scream and cry.

There is no chance that Aaron will go with Hazel but I understand why she wants him to. I feel sorry for both of them. THe scar of Jackson's death will never fully heal.

I think she wanted to take him with her because she remembers the good memories of Jackson. Where as, Aaron can't think of the good memories and just think of the bad.

yes, that is probably true. I just hope Hazel returns now and then to Emmerdale for visits. I miss her.

I don't know about anyone else, but I found that scene between Hazel and Aaron quite sickening. Hazel's obsession with Aaron is inappropriate and just plain creepy. Can she not see that she and Jackson are the reasons why Aaron hurts himself? I understand she's lonely, and I'll even acknowledge that besides Chas, the Dingles are toxic to Aaron, but Hazel is just as toxic to him because with her, Aaron will always be reminded of Jackson, and he'll never be able to move on. Chas will be furious!

Eww, Hazel went all crazy in this episode. Using Jackson as a ploy to get Aaron to come with her was pretty low of her. The truth is, she needs Aaron because she doesn't want to be alone and because Aaron somehow allows her to be a mother again. Hopefully this was just a lapse on her part , but for a second I thought she was going to pull a 'Misery' on us.

ED has the best actors.Danny/Pauline/Lucy just make every scene they're in so awesome.Chas & Hazel are going to have it out about Aaron.This is just as good as finding out Zak was the one who almost killed Cain.Love ED:)

@Boslthrman I agree! Hazel is right now the one I feel sorry for the most. She has not the problem with anger Aaron has, but at the end she is coping worse than him, she really has nobody. Not that Aaron is doing well though

I think that Aaron is going wih Hazzel, but I don't think it's gonna work. Him and her together all the time, she is clinging and he will need his space. She's not his mother, he can't replace Jackson.. and how will Aaron ever move one with his dead boyfriends mom as a travelpartner? With that said I'm glad that the producers didn't gave Aaron another loveinterest after Jackson died - it really feels like real love when he still misses Jackson so long after his dead

I think Hazel means more to Aaron than his own mother Chaz. I think Hazel does love Aaron and she does care for him. But I also think Hazel is a bit manipulative because she is lonely and wants her dead son back.

Like mother like son. Jackson always put Aaron under pressure to get him to be the boyfriend he wanted him to be - and now Hazel is using the same kind of manipulative pressure on Aaron to get what she wants. To say they do it because they "love" him is both condescending & patronising to Aaron. He is more emotionally f*cked up now than he ever was before they entered his life.

@sanyrub I agree 100% with you. They have so much chemistry together and deserve every available award for their performances the last twelve months (especially Pauline, who hasn't got any award yet, something I really find difficult to understand). By the way, I can totally see a spin-off...Hazel and Aaron in sunny Barcelona, surrounded by beautiful Spanish men with smouldering eyes...how does that sound? :)

moving on is tough, especially when you are reminded every single day of what was happen and especially when you are too involve in the situation and more so if it is the one you "love the most"... but moving on to another country is a worst idea that emmerdale writers wrote, Aaron can move on another city or places at UK but in another country will not be a good idea... they used the "Hazel travelling habits" for the departure of Danny in the soap... not a good idea...

Aaron should move on. Staying in ED is not helping him. He hides behind this proper veneer so not one will ask "How are you doing?" and you know what the hardest part is... Telling them the truth. It's easy to say I'm fine and sulk off in tears. it's harder to say I'm dying inside and I don't know what to do. All the other hard questions seems follow. We all know that he needs a lot of help but he needs to figure that out onhis own. Maybe this trip is what he needs.

Hazel i love you dearly but please stop this... Jackson isn't here anymore and Aaron can't continue to live for him Aaron has to find his own way and be able to say, "This what Aaaron wants, not Jackson would have wanted this..." We all know you mean well but this won't be health for him.

Rather that than a lack of popularity, cos I find it hard to believe that someone doesn't like her, I mean she's such a sweetheart, I love her. :) Let's hope that people will come to their senses and give her finally all the awards she so utterly deserves. ps: totally... haha

@TheNaytureBoy I disagree I do not think Hazel is toxic to Aaron and I mean look at Aaron family Zak almost killing Cain. The Dingles are a dysfunctional family and this is a fact. But I do see the other side of things that perhaps Hazel is not the best person for Aaron to be around at the moment. Hazel does not seem totally mentally stable and she does seem a bit manipulative to Aaron. The last line Hazel said it is what Jackson would have wanted was manipulation.
