I started driving for a roofing wholesale yard. Composition shingles were my best loads. They tied down easy and didn't shift You'd have trouble kicking those damm things off the trailer

It was sure hot Monday here in West Tn. Had a blowout on a dump trailer. Sad when a 18ply tire goes. But man I got way to hot changing it out. Hauled the rest of the week without any issues. Should have 2 new tires Monday. Then I can not wonder about tires for a while in this heat.

So good to see my native America and American roads again. I'm now off pretty much all of my lockdown conditions, not even restricted due to age, but the way the virus is spreading there who knows when I'll be able to come home? Meanwhile, you're my link to reality. Keep rolling and stay safe.

About 2 months ago I had to load 7 pallets with thermo isolation (light) and 5 pallets with roofing shingles identical like on your trailer. They put it with forklift on the back of the trailer. I had to move it with a manual palletjack halfway inside the 53 foot dryvan. Those pallets are really heavy lol. I believe 200 plus lbs. Luckily at the reciever they had a ramp and forklift so I didn't had to touch it again. Now I always think differently when you haul roofing shingles lol. I feel and remember it. I'm 32 years young but still lol.

Glad you’re back please talk about weight stations and why some trucks stop and others just keep on going when it says all trucks must stop and maybe you can tell us why you’re wife stop going with you if you can thanks a lot you do a great job with your videos be safe
@DinanBMWm54 жыл бұрын
Some trucks have a prepass. A transponder that sends information to the weigh station, the weigh station then chooses whether to pull you in or give you a green light to keep going.

Why aren't these places set up to check in by phone? Drivers using an intercom is not a good thing in these times. I order groceries online and call the store when I get there to pick them up.

Great to see you Dan! 2:36 WHAT a charming lady! OMG. Who cares about humans? An extra twelve second warm greeting or thank you including 'have a nice day', reduces productivity. Never mind risking intimacy by showing the slightest crack of warm regard. Objectify them all! Don't waste a second. Crisp and efficient. , I cannot wait for AI and 5G to take over more. Think of how much better life will be! . Marginalize all of humanity into instrumentalities, and inflate assets so that parasitic workers do not get to share in the growth of the owners and controllers of capital, who must maximize shareholder value. . Please.
@Rimrock3004 жыл бұрын
See you, but the lady was not unfriendly either) She was doing ok. Might have a hundred calls a day, and on a thight schedule. Some additional 'warm greatings' and 'thank you' is always a pluss, but lack of it is not necessary a minus, as in this case with the lady not sounding any particular negative, just doing her job) But agreed, there is always room for more warmth and 'thank you' in everyday life, but not overdo it as many does, which makes it feel a bit fake
