16:44 that whole quote needs to be printed, black people do business with emotion, expecting things, white and indian man leave their hearts at home and make money. Wow. Taking notes.

Moral of the story? Don't expect anything from no one... just got to hold it. Do your own due diligence and you'll get to where you need to get to.

I love the way Gabriel thinks , if you can give the connections to allow your friend to set up his business why not? It’s so selfish 😒Black men always think they can only be the only one winning lol and only help if it benefits them. Asians will open up 5 Afro Caribbean hair shops on the same high street and have the same supplier connect 😂😂
@OO-fs3bh
@OO-fs3bh 3 жыл бұрын
This is very true. With Asians they want everyone to eat. But with black men they’re emotional and want to be the only ones doing good. Fair enough if you tried to buss your boy and he fucked up your connect once before and you don’t want it to happen again. But don’t be stingy in this life.

You can give connections but don't expect it for free. It creates a lazy society. When you pay for something you know you don't need to pay any favours back

Bruh its true but a lot of folk snake man. My mum bought a car off a black man my dad does business with. Hes a mechanic by trade. Most expensive car we've ever bought. And took our old car off us. Within 3 months the car had major problems and was out of commission the first year. He didnt even fill in the paperwork to say He had custody of our old car so man was getting parking lane tickets sent to our door. My mums thinking i listened to your dad and look what happened id be better going off to reg vardy or the asian man we bought the last car from. It be your own people sometimes.

I agree with Gabriel “there is enough meat on the bone for everyone”. This video is exactly why we are where we are as a community. Also there is a way you treat your friends compared to strangers

Its true but mr oshodi has a point working together can make the business more powerful which is exactly what the indian and chinese ppl do build one business till its established then build more at the end each man can be a ceo of a proper company working together under one umbrella

This shows the collection of friendships someone has made over their lifetime. The Gabriel guy has a different standard for his friends than the other guy. It’s as simple as that. I would never do that to my brother in arms.

The thing is communication, if you’re friends you’re just honest about the profit you’re making, and maybe just take less than you would a stranger, maybe take £500 and be honest about it, instead of adding £1000 not saying, that way it’s all respectful and above board!

Referring to the wholesaler conversation, this is why also some shop keepers were getting blamed for over pricing certain goods during when corona just came to the uk, for example I was buying a dozen eggs for £12 & selling for £13-£14 & people were raging at me for overpricing when the wholesalers were ripping me as well

Depends on the friendship tbh. If your my real friend and I wanted to sell my car I’m not gonna make bread off you cah that’s wrong in my opinion. I can make money from selling it to someone else. I don’t know if mr orshodi is Ghanaian or Nigerian but he’s definitely one of them cah he’s ruthless when it comes to business 😂😂. Business is business at the end of the day so I kinda understand the way he is.

In regards to the 1st topic, I call that making a raise off your friend and not a drink. If you got to your friend and tell him a 4k car cost 5k and he buys the car and you make 1k, you robbed your friend for 1k. Same time if a man wanted food and your friend said 3400 and you tell the next guy its 4400, then that's ok cause your making a raise off the next guy and not your friend. Imo

I'm with Gabriel on the car scenario I couldn't make a drink off my friend. You're bringing the opportunity to me as a friend but you are not sharing the full benefits of the opportunity naaaah that is not buisness that is being greedy and sneaky lol. I would look at my friend sideways if they done that to me or anyone close to them😄👀

I disagree if I’ve done the hard work to find what you want for a cheaper price why should I now give up my time for free. At the same time it depends on how close they are to you

@@YungShortz there are variables to everything. Just like Gabriel was giving the examples of them as boys - so mandem or brothers that are close to you… when you start moving like that with your people just know that you love money more than your own people. Simple.

If my boy made a drink off me and I’m still getting a good deal I wouldn’t have any bad feelings at all, everybody should eat! Maybe it’s different when you come from a certain lifestyle where everyone drinks off eachother on a regular tho🤷🏾‍♂️ same time maybe straight up transparency from the start would make the situation better

With the drink thing, what if you buy the car for 5k when it's worth 7k would you then sell it on to a friend for 5k even though its worth 7k, just so you don't make a drink of him??
@zakajadi2744

That’s backwards. If that person is your friend then they won’t take it personal if u make a drink off them. Any business that runs on friendship would deffo fail
