Polaris usually has high, low and reverse seems like your running it in low. I wonder what year and model that is it would totally make a difference but was four-wheel drive so I would see it having having high gear. Could be bad/ stuck, it's possible since the motor was bad. My Polaris transmission has hi low and reverse and the transmission is very iffy.

1. Put a piece of mudflap rubber between the engine and frame (go to a tractor supply or truck stop for a real mudflap, not walmart junk) 2. Use the same mudflap rubber between the footrests and frame 3. It seems like the torque converter isn't throwing the belt as far as it should. I'm sure the original motor cranks a little faster but that thing seems a bit slow. Might be the pulley position (too far or too close) 4. Find out if it's 2 speed

That belt should be adjusted so it rides at the top of the secondary with no load on it. You should have about 1/32"-1/16" of belt sticking out from the top of the secondary. You will lose a ton of power and speed if it is not adjusted properly. Same thing with the primary, if not using the oem polaris clutch you may have some deflection issues to address. It should be just loose enough to barely touch the outside of the primary shaft at the bottom.

Sand and round out that wood seat! Maybe the smaller leather foam pad, for vibrations try and out some rubber or poly bushing in-between the engine and the engine plate!
@untapupkeepdraw59225 жыл бұрын
You guys should really try to put some rubber isolators between the engine and the mounting plate to act as vibration damperners. The second thing I notice is that instead of using the mixture screws to lean out or richen the fuel air ratios you always seem to try to change the engine setup to match the preadjustment carb instead of adjusting the carb mixture to the engine you already have. Tune that carb up and you will notice a world of difference with the air filter and exhaust that was already there. Maybe attach the stock muffler to the header pipe but that is just to get rid of that strange angle you had before but that's it.
