Hey, awesome review, thanks for the vid. Quick question - in my country the 43qn90C is around 50-70 dollars pricer than the 43qn90B (specifically a 6-8% increase over qn90B). a pretty small increase. would you say it's worth the extra or should I stick with the 2022 version if there's no sufficient changes in the new model? My main use of the tv is mainly movies with some little sports and very rarely, slow paced video games (like Fifa and Spiderman).

At the 43” size, the Qn90b and qn90c are more similar than different. I’ve had the qn90c for a while. Both are great tvs. The only real differences are a better processor, more software related features and up to 144 hertz refresh rate. If the difference is only 50-70 dollars, I would say get the qn90c!

Currently, in my opinion, the LG C2 42” Oled (and potentially the LG C3) is probably the best for Xbox or PS5 gaming. You have to worry about the potential burnin problem though. This is probably the third or fourth best 42/43 “ tv for gaming but you wouldn’t have to worry about burn in though. I would recommend it if you wait until Black Friday to get a good deal. Otherwise, get the cheaper Qn90b (last years model) or lg c2 ( if you’re willing to risk burn in) now if you can’t wait.

@@JCTechFinance Gotcha. So the only sets better than this would be OLED's? Would you say this is the best 43" LCD? I actually own an OLED, but I really do miss LCD brightness for gaming. Especially for SDR games. It looks dull on my OLED (A90K) unless I crank brightness up to very high levels, but then worry about burn in.

Hi bro,Is this tv worthy if only $599?or should i add more $100 to get the panasonic lz1000k 48inch which is delivery oled panel?
@JCTechFinance
@JCTechFinance Жыл бұрын
Hi, I haven’t reviewed the LZ1000k but I do know a few things about it. Bigger size is always better. Whether you should get the LZ1000 or the Samsung depends on a few things. The LZ1000 would deliver better picture quality because it is an Oled but if you’re in a bright room it might be better to get the qn90c. The LZ1000 is more susceptible to burn in if you watch many hours in a day. I believe the LZ1000 has 2 hdmi 2.0 and 2 hdmi 2.1 connections while the qn90c has 4 hdmi 2.1 connections. There are other differences but these are the main ones I think. Whichever you decide is up to you.

I bought this TV because everything in my country is extremely expensive and this was the same price as a regular ips TV. I feel like image quality just lacks something though.

Yes, at 50% off I more than recommend. Note that 43” and 50” use VA panels and larger tvs may use ads instead of va panels depending on geography

How is the DSE? Motion clarity good as well?
@JCTechFinance
@JCTechFinance Жыл бұрын
I did notice some DSE in the edges and corners but not in the middle. I did not find the amount of DSE too distracting since all lcd tvs have dirty screen effect to some degree or the other. Also the amount of DSE present is dependent on a panel lottery so your experience may vary. Motion clarity was decent. Could be better but relatively similar to last year’s model. Make sure the picture clarity setting is auto or custom and not off. Looks terrible otherwise.

Im eyeing the 43 inch. I see the specs showing a depth of 8.7 inches for the tv with the stand. I am looking for a different measurement that i can not find posted anywhere. What is the measurement of the depth of the tv with stand between the back of the stand and the front of the tv? Also the specs do not show anything about the vents. Where exactly are all the vents located on this tv?

@JC - Tech & Finance thank you so much. It would greatly be appreciated. You are probably wondering why I am asking these unusual questions. It's because the place where my tv goes there is a window ledge that sticks out on the upper portion of the tv while the base itself I have unlimited room. Also the spot is pretty tight all over and I want to make sure the vent locations are not blocked.

Oh I see you've been watching "Quantums" video. That guy is a liar. If the 55" is ADS panel which it might very well be. Then the 43" like in this video would be as well. And even if not. Last years QN85B (ADS IPS panel) had better black levels than Quantums video of the QN90C. He is manipulating the TV and you if you believe it. What he shows is a TV with local dimming turned off or on low settings. It can be clearly seen by the "clouding" and the blooming happening and lifted blacks in areas where otherwise local dimming would eliminate this. Just because the TV might be ADS panel doesn't mean it would look like that. Head on they would be as deep black as a VA panel. It's when you see it from the sides the blooming would get worse. Either his panel is broken or he manipulated it. Quantum is well known for manipulation via raising ISO or putting on settings that make a TV look worse etc. It's his whole deal, that is how he get views. JCTechFinance did a good video here showing what it actually looks like and this on a lower size model. So how can you trust Quantum's video when JC here show a different result? Head on VA or ADS would look the same with proper local dimming. It's that simple.

Not really, unfortunately. They are trying to steer people towards the QN95C (only available in sizes 65 and up right now) so they’re trying to differentiate between the Qn95c and and Qn90c). I suspect they will release a 55” version of the Qn95c in the second half of the year in the US as well once enough people buy the 65” model. They are being too money focused.
