Totally envious. That looks like a great and quiet place to stop. off-season. Narrow, but a delightful setting. Rosie and Ralph causing mayhem is, I think, as much a part of the magic for us and, I suspect, for you both, as the scenery. Totally envious of this leg of your journey. Love the Llangollen canal, if you moor between bridge 4 and 5 you can walk over the fields to Snugburys Ice Cream Farm, well worth the walk😀

We cruised the Llangollen last fall. As we were on a hire boat we obviously had a much faster pace. We loved it and look forward to revisiting some of our favorite places through your eyes.

Hurleston Locks is a great start to the wonders of the Llangollen. I was there just a few weeks back doing a bit of Gongoozling 😂 Enjoy your Llangollen Canal Adventure. If you can, stop at the Barbridge Inn on the way back (just north of Hurleston locks junction) - The pie is great and well worth it.

Love the reviews you post, question for you, if you could change anything about your boat what would you do? Or do you think it’s as good as it could be?

Good question. We wouldn’t change a great deal really. Other than maybe other going for 60ft just for a few feet in the saloon or losing a bit from the stern and staying at 57. Being 57 gives us full access to all canals, 60’ has a few restrictions. And definitely Li-ion batteries, but we’ll add them in a couple of years. We do like Semi Trad’s shape and would have probably had one but our stern/cover is ideal in the winter with the dogs. Thanks for watching 👍🏻🍻
