I haven’t had bannock in years, we always cooked it in lard and put Rogers golden syrup on it, it’s delicious 👍, thanks for sharing your recipe

Mom called them dough God's! She'd either roll them in powdered sugar or cinnamon and regular sugar!!! Now I'm drooling!!!

My recipe is similar, I add a bit of powder milk to it as well. I fry it up in the grease left over from frying some smoked pork jowl. Very tasty. Thanks for sharing.

After watching, the next day I made Bannock using your recipe, but living alone I cut it in half and fried them in Lard. they were good. Here in the southern Appalachian Mts. we make Hoecakes, recipe's Identical except we use cornmeal instead of flour.

I have the same little burner it doesn't work all that good either, just like yours it's cooked a lpot of yummy food, I could smell that bannick cooking.
