Have you done any testing with these on ice? I know winter performance is supposed to be decent. I'm trying to decide if they're good enough for me to ditch the Blizzaks on my 4runner and just go with these.

I did a few mountain trips during ski season on these, and they performed well in snow and ice. Stopping & going traction on ice was ok and felt deserving of the 3PMSF rating. But that said, if you're doing a lot of snow and ice then a dedicated winter tire is probably the better choice.

Thanks for the review. When you were running the Pirellis with the stock wheels, did you have a square set up? Have you tried them in the snow?

@@TheTeslaTours Yes to both, although it was light snow (ski trips) and not heavy accumulation. Start and stop traction was good in light snow, definitely worth their 3PMSF rating. But as usual, it shouldn’t be a substitute for a dedicated winter tire if you’re driving in heavy snow often.

what about range?
@Professor.YАй бұрын
Efficiency was 344 wh/mi with the Pirelli Weatheractives compared to 323 wh/mi with the OEM Continental tires (both on factory Tesla 20-inch wheels). That translates to roughly 20 miles of range difference at 100% battery SoC, assuming a 100 kWh battery capacity of the Model X Plaid.
