Last video our 2012 Ferrari FF broke down. All the symptoms were pointing to a failed front transmission which is a $45,000 repair. We got the issue fixed for just $300. We also do a cheap "straight piping" mod by wiring open the valves on this 650HP V12 screamer! It sounds so good with the muffler delete essentially. This cheapest in the US Ferrari is epic and ready for a new custom wrap too!

I believe that is a cherry red or race green wrap. The exhaust sounds beautiful. If you really want to modify it, remove the mufflers for weight saving and maybe replace the h pipe with an X pipe

The paint def needs some love. Take it to some place that will wet sand and polish it. Should look incredible if done properly.

The exhaust sounds sooooo clean now I dont think you need to do anything to it and you use that money for another upgrade like wheels. The wrap is going to be Rosso Corsa 1000% to invoke those classic Ferrari feelings. As to my guess on whats going on with the Maserati my guess is the transmission as I thought the electrical issues seemed at a minimum; if the electric seats work usually that means the harness is intact.

The exact same thing happened to me once. I bought this 1974 charger R/T for $400, because they thought it had a bad transmission, turned out it just has a leaking rubber hose on the bottom of the transmission that was letting all the fluid out. I drove it home before I figured that out and it fried the trans pretty bad driving several miles with the trans slipping badly and barely engaging. I eventually sold it for $200. Hope you do better on your car than I did.

As you said the car has some evidence of salt undeneath, there are some things you shouls do. 1) check the bolts on the ceramic brake discs, they corrode from the back. Ferrari will tell you that you need new discs but you can actually get new bolts and carefully replace them. 2) replace the undertray bolts with stainless or they will get stuck in place and break when you try and remove them 3) clean the underside and rustproof it. Finally, order an exhaust fom Novitec, Capristo, IPE or similar make it sound like an old skool F1 car.
