You say a couple of screws and I take out the front of the UPS and you didn't show how to do this, thanks. Soy de argentina.

I got as far as you up to 8 min. I needed the parts you did off camera! How did you get the front piece off and where are the "other screws you mentioned?

You seemed to have very little knowledge about inverters but all i wanted to see is the circuit board and thanks for that😁

Just for completeness, the 24vdc is converted to a high frequency pulse signal (35khz or something like that), which is then put through the transformer. The transformer steps the pulsed voltage up to ~170v pulsed DC which is rectified and smoothed (not 120v RMS ). It then goes into an H-Bridge that reverses the output at a set frequency NA is 60hz, and depending on how the H-Bridge is driven, you get either nearly "pure sine wave" using sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) or more commonly, using a modified square wave driver. The former is much better for electronics. (If I have any of this wrong, please correct it for the benefit of others)

Does the transformer in this unit uses the battery during voltage adjustments(avr mode) or only when it drops below the avr range(battery mode)?
@GBCProductions645 жыл бұрын
I think it does switch to battery mode during over voltage as well. The sounds it makes as it switches modes sounds like it's using the battery. Now, that could be switching to battery mode as it changes taps on the transformer. I may try hooking a variac up to it just to see what it does.

This does not have a pure sine wave as it's the back-ups version not the smart-ups version

Thanks for taking the time to make this video. You keep saying that it takes the 12v DC and converts it. Don't you mean it takes the 24v and converts it? Those batteries are wired in series. If you look carefully on the sticker, you'll even see reference to 24v.

You are correct, it is 24 volts. That was a mistake on my part.

Not 12 volts but 24 volts with those two combined batteries. Thanks though...

Wow, if I wanted to know how to take it apart, the part you skipped in the beginning would have been the most important of this video.
