I've stopped at a few Dunham's stock decent overpriced still stopped at Rural King the other day really nothing new went to Cabela's today fully stocked tons of 9 mm and 40 all the hunting rifle ammo tons of 556/223.... But no 45 aarp is what i was looking for.. I picked up some herter's 30-30 I picked up one box looked around went back to pick up some more of it and it was all gone in a matter of seconds

I checked Dunhams the other day about 20 miles from me and their shelves weren't empty, but there were no deals. I did manage to pick up some 9mm in an Acadomy about 30 miles away last week.

I'd be careful with that federal auto match, I had 8 boxes of it, shot 4 of em and was getting a ridiculous amount of failures in 5 different guns (ruger 10/22, ruger wrangler, ruger lcp2, ruger mark 3, Smith and wesson 22a), one box I had at least 40 failures, from failures to fire, failure to feed (previous round underpowered), failure to eject (underpowered rounds), all of those guns were and are reliable, they'll shoot anything else just fine, the lcp2 is a bit picky but I had 100% reliability with it with an older box of auto match, also a less relevant point is an overcharged round of auto match blew up my tx22 but I got all that sorted out and federal customer service was very helpful, sad part is that was the 7th round out of that box, sent the rest to federal and they all tested good, go figure, I'm sure that was just a freak accident as that's very uncommon as you already know, I'm definitely not gonna get any more of the stuff, the other 3 boxes had 20-30+ failures each also, I stopped counting after about 10 or so, on the bright side I got pretty quick with clearing the malfunctions but I wouldn't use it for anything but plinking If it matters to you I was getting about 4.5moa or so with the auto match in my 10/22, got 1.5moa with mini mag varmint in a quick 10 shot group which I thought was pretty decent Anyway, hopefully that helps ya and hopefully you don't have the same issues with it that I have but as consistent as the unreliability has been for me I'm sure it's about the same for everyone else Also on a side note all the guns were clean and lubricated and they all have about 500-1500 rounds through each of them and have always been reliable

I've shot a good bit of it and have had my share of failure to ignites. The worst for me though are the Winchester 333's. Those things are absolutely horrible for no fires, and tons of ftf and fte. The projectiles are so sloppy in those things, you can pretty much just push em right out with your thumb.😣

@@ToolsandTargets only remington 22s I've seen in quite a while is the 500rd thunderbolts, and to think I quit buying that because I was averaging 6 failures per brick, definitely could have saved quite a bit getting that instead of the auto match, but ive had so many issues with remington ammo in general that I don't even trust the stuff to be safe I'm definitely a proponent for buy American but these days it seems of you want ammo that you know is gonna be right, it's mostly the foreign made stuff, ive really been liking Norma 9mm, shoots fantastic, check out normashooting and they've got some decent prices, especially when they have a sale

I don't understand how in Birmingham al we are only getting about half of the most common calibers and typically only 1 or 2 types in said caliber. No 357 or 380 or 40 s&w no 410 no 7.62×39 most of the time. No 30-06 no hunting calibers at all besides 308 or occasionally some 7.62×54r. I mean its pathetic out here but up in Tennessee they got everything. I need to take a VACATION in your hometown and go hog wild.
