On the hornady ftx round pull the red tips out and it is absolutely devastating to tissue and I have not seen any accuracy issues up to 300yards

That was one of the much better videos on this caliber. I thought they only went up to 300 grain slugs. Guess I better keep looking.

I’ve been looking for an Encore frame from anywhere I could get one. So far I’ve found, MGM, SSK, Haus of Arms but nobody sells frames. Everyone has pictures, but nothing actually exists to sell. Is it possible to get one anywhere or are they gone for good? If anyone could educate me I’d greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Joe, unfortunately these frames are not being produced anymore. Your best bet is to search GunBroker or any other source for used firearms. Good luck!

Smith and Wesson closed their TC division about two years ago. All production has ceased and Encore frames are now selling for $500-700 on Gunbroker.

Aww you didnt even say the best part about 450BM! Its the same projectile used in 20 gauge shotgun slugs and 45acp, so you can buy one projectile and reload 3 different platforms!
