Given two wheel drive of the design and how the the balance point is. Most likely works poorly in low traction and tight spaces. Put in heavy load and since it kinda needs to be on higher than wheels on wide loads, now you have high center of gravity well as pain in the ass when going down or up slopes, where slowing down can cause it nose dive or loose traction on one side and nosedive well as flip it on its side. Sure there is some uses for this, but its limited. If they added loading option into their 4 wheel platform and made it towable, that would make far more sense than this thing and even then if there is option to add tracks over wheels kind of setup fast depending on the environment in question, well as if you can have swappable attachment from forklifts to bed, bucket and options for some specialized attachments. In a sense each of these presented seems rather one trick pony with weak ankles... I mean i do like the idea, but for the price just add tow hook and dollies to suitable forklift and tow that (if possible by local regulations).

@@ShainAndrews I assume that you are asking about tongue weight. AFAIK, tongue weight is a fixed value, not a percentage. From specification of my car it's 50kg/100lbs of trailer tongue weight on the hitch. If you have less than that, or negative tongue weight, it will pull the car rear wheels up and the trailer will be very unstable and it will be slaloming/fishtailing all over road. Really interesting piece of equipment. My two observations are 1. It seems a bit slow. Understandable, considering the weight it will handle but by the time it is disconnected from the truck and the tote is placed, then reconnected to the truck, you almost could have done it by hand… 2. I feel like the boom should go out another 12 to 18 inches for better reach. I know that would probably reduce lifting capacity and potentially compromise safety due to the narrow width but it just seems to fall a little short considering the price. Just my 2 cents. Pretty cool though, it’s a great idea!
