I inherited a P85 Ruger. It is ugly and heavy but it has (in my opinion) "Glock-like" reliability.

They do just love to run. I have ran some weak steel case so loaded down that they were falling out of the ejection port. Then stuff so hot I think the shells were landing in the next county. Never failed to fire and cycle with stock springs. Tried to swap the hammer spring out for a lighter weight one and had several light primer strikes, put the stock spring back in and no issues. P89 was and is the best version. P85 had the recall on the de-cocker. Problem was addressed and solved on the P89 version.
