Great job. Very nice picking and video. Beautiful padlock. I have a question about passive pins. They seize the core if wrong key is inserted, but you don't have to avoid them while picking, do you. I mean when you would accidentally push them with pick out, the moment active pins are all picked, the passive pin would just pull yourself back to core (without wrong key in way, obviously during picking). Or do I understand them wrong?

+Mike Pergl Thanks. You are mostly right about passive pins, but there's one thing I would add. When you drop into a false set, all of the passive pins push into the keyway making it much more restrictive. This is particularly so in dimple locks where the passive pins are directly opposite of the active pins. I've had a couple locks where this presented a real challenge. This R8, however, was not one of them.
