One of my 3 favorite deere tractors the 4620, 7520 4wd, and the 6030. Freaking loved the replay of it throttling up on the pump!!! We have a 4620 and it smokes just like that.

It's always fun to see an older piece of iron get new life! One thing I noticed is how the rear fenders on that 4620 are probably near identical to a 630 that a neighbor of ours bought new when I was 6 yrs. old!!! That was1959! Love the memories!

Hats off to Jerod, for a job well done. Don't know that I've ever seen a 4620 in the flesh, quite a few 40&30 20's around our area, loader tractors primary. Again good job!
@adam83474 жыл бұрын
I put those steps on both sides of my 4620 and I think you'll be happy if you do that also. Makes the 4620 look better and getting up on the seat from any side of the tractor much easier too.

If you get a chance look at Gale Banks channel on youtube. Black smoke is money going out the exhaust and excess fuel destroys your engine in the long run and turbos can give you excess heat into your engine. I do not know if you have an intercooler or charge cooler but if that tractor is used for long runs at max power then it would be a sound investment. Lower cylinder temps back into a less destructive zone inside the cylinders, injector tips , less carbon getting past the rings and lower fuel bills and a noticable increase in power. Cool inlet air is the key and running the engine with excess air not, excess fuel. We have come along way since that tractor was built. Great video. keep them coming.

Nice to see older iron getting looked after but also earning their keep rather than going for scrap, I have a small 4 cylinder 72hp 1978 jd 2035 that was brought back from the dead, an internal water leak filled a cylinder overnight and on startup it put a conrod through the block, luckily the crankshaft was not twisted. It will soon need a new clutch but still works fine. The newer tractors of the last 10 years will not live as long as the old tractors I think, too much plastic and electronics controling everything, one slight failure and your day is done.
