You know how most people look forward to a weekly episode of a tv show. This series has turned into that for me. I recently moved to MIN and cant wait to take a trip (in much smaller scale) like this one. This content has inspired a introverted homebody. Thank you!

It all really makes sense now. It's perfectly clear that your parents did an outstanding job at raising such an awesome young man. I can tell just from your interactions with them that your family is pretty similar to mine, many of my friends think it's wild that every time any of my immediate family members are saying bye to each other, in person or on the phone, every single time it includes "I love you". I would almost bet you guys do the same. It's really cool that you guys get to go on these trips like this and make memories as a family. Just keep on being yourself Mav, it's a guaranteed path to constant growth and success.

Fellow Minnesotan here. Discovered your channel last week through Andre "European Reacts". This video put a smile on my face. I did a very similar trip in 2007. Met my folks up in Anchorage. They spent several summers on the Kenai staying in an RV, doing a lot of fishing. Having my own car was great for little day trips. Got lucky and witnessed the Beluga whale migration. Had to be 150 of them! I did venture out on my own for a few weeks, did some whitewater rafting in Denali, glacier tour out of Valdez, took in one of Alaska's state fairs which is comparable to one of our county fairs. The ginormous vegetables from the Matsu Valley were unbelievable. And a demolition derby is always fun! Excited for you to go on more adventures.

21k views in just a matter of 53 minutes of posting, that in itself shows the hard work and dedication put into your channel. Tuned in all the way from hawaii🤙🏾. The thing that stands out about your channel to me is 1. You never build your video title up to attract people to watch, 2. The commentary is on point and very detailed especially when it comes to the cooking aspect & 3. The growth, hard work and continues effort you put into your videos. Your doing what a lot of people wish they could do and you do it with respect especially when it comes to taking care of the land/campsite. It’s what it’s all about. Love the video Mav!! Absolutely amazing footage. A comment on the red and white mushrooms 🍄: Those are Fly Agarics. They are not psilocybin. They contain ibotenic acid and muscimol. If anyone finds and wants to eat these for therapeutic or recreational purposes, please read about them first. They are a completely different experience from psilocybin mushrooms. Also, if you eat enough of them you can actually overdose, unlike psilocybin mushrooms.

Hey Mav! So I stumbled across your videos because you look a lot like an old friend of mine Ben. Realized you are from Minnesota which is where he’s from as well. Watched several of your videos including the Japan trip (which is such a dream come true btw). Made my way to this video and you literally call out Deer Creek at Watson Lake! That is exactly where Ben is from! It’s been several years since I’ve talked with Ben. But it was nice to see you highlight such a small town. I haven’t been back to Wadena since freshmen year in 2009. Brought me back to such a good time in my life! I really appreciate your videos man! Keep it up!

A few standouts for me (and I don't know yet if they were all included in this compilation), the friendly people at that bar at the very beginning, the roadkill bird, meeting the dude who was walking with a cart, cooking for Steve Wallis, RVing with the parents. Special mention of flying to Barrow for that silly grocery errand. lol

The shrooms are Amanita Muscaria also know as Fly Agaric. Boil and change out water twice before consuming or you will feel Ill. Rain deer love them. Also shamans use to drink there own urine after consuming because the process activates the psychoactive compounds. Not recommending, but knowledge doesn't hurt. Love your videos.
