48 Hour Build Off Sunday Morning

Tamiya 1991 Audi V8 Touring
Where I got to on Saturday evening, relayed on Sunday morning.
Chassis assembled and tested, body painted.
Sunday was sticker day...
Time lapse largely unsuccessful - GoPro got a bit warm, battery went flat. Have now ordered longer USB cable to fix the latter, not sure how I'm going to fix the former.

Fantastic little build Ted, but i'm not gonna lie......I've been waiting patiently to see some of the GC4. I thought you said it was mocking you from the ''to do'' pile? haha jk. You're a fine builder. I also like that cross trailer you built, maybe we can see more of that in the future. Anyway nice job here with the build off. 1991 was a fine year.

@Westernsharpie's RC Hey bud - thanks for the comment 🤣 The GC4 still mocks me, its waiting its turn in the to-do list - its getting a bit grumpy it keeps getting jumped in the queue but thats the joy of hobbies - you can do what you want at the time! It will happen - but the MC8 is the next big project - I need that to tow my trailer around 😃

Did you paint the black splitter on the inside or outside?

Hi Peter. Painted on the inside. Couple of runs of masking tape for the top edge, then put the whole body in a bin bag and sealed it up just leaving the front splitter out in the open.
