Good day Ted, I also built a cross rc mc8c a while ago. that all went quite smoothly. I just think that steering with a single servo doesn't really work well in the sand. I would also like to print and install that printed double servo mount. But I can't get the print file 😏. could you help me with this? Or maybe you have any idea where I could download it. Thank you in advance! Greetings Luud Van Beers.

So I used the same servo, set up with the glued potentiometer....it drifts ....go figure. On a hobbywing (cranked up to 8v) it will pull like crazy. I'm actually afraid to get my finger caught in it. Nice to see other options.
@tedstinytrucks1380 Жыл бұрын
No worries bud, thanks for watching. Interesting to hear its drifting with a glued potentiometer - weird one! They pull like mad for sure, mine was excellent until it got dunked in sea water, now I need to make another 😕

@@tedstinytrucks1380 fairly certain I figured it out.....i don't have enough deadband! switch to a channel with a twist knob instead of the on /off/on......and it's not pulling cable 1mm at a time... It's my first attempt at a winch. And it actually holds position now! Can't believe I didn't do this sooner.
@christianreimers1687 Жыл бұрын
I have the exact same winch controller from Aliexpress. It did the same, rolling ing, when powered on. Was using a dumborc reciecer. I did setup the failsafe from new, and it stopped sending signal to the winch, at startup.
@tedstinytrucks1380 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback - pleased it wasn't just me! Interesting to hear about the failsafe, I would have hoped it sent a stop command rather than no signal though.

Hi, i just assembled the c34.order 15099 I have a lot of problems with c34. quality department is doing a terrible job. tyres are wobbly terrible, wheels does not fit to a 5 milimetre drive shafts, Once i put them on i have to almost destroy them to take them off. just terrible. Steering linkage came updated but assembly instructions are wrong, old. thats just basic mistake. Input gear shafts are bent and because of that drive shaft cups are wobbling. front axle is not working properly. i managed to brake in the rear one according to instructions but the front is not possible. front input gear does not mash with differential gear at all. I don see how can all that be fixed, so i would like to return the product and them to return the money to me... 5mm hex are not 5 mm. and are bent already. is this normal? no wonder wheels dont fit.hex should be 5mm and wheels 5.07mm.they should know that. How can they sell a faulty product? I asked for my 30 day refund but nobody is answering 😮

@tedstinytrucks13802 жыл бұрын
@Joe Rutkowsky Hey Joe, thanks for watching. Love the transmitter but it seems a little heavy on battery usage - definitely upgrade to a 6.6v LIFE battery for better usage times. A few rigs have found 4 channels to be a bit restrictive at times - I also use a FlySky Noble which is another great radio. Difficult to choose a favourite between the two, I'd be happy with either :-)

One more question.. how to adjust the steering endpoint? My steering endpoint are to limited left and right
@tedstinytrucks13803 жыл бұрын
Thats all you can do bud, just set the max limit on either side so the tyre either doesn't hit the arch or the leaf spring. It does cut down your steering throw if you want to avoid the rubbing 😔 The other thing to check is the front wheels / tyres are parallel - mine toed out slightly (wider at the front than the rear) so I corrected that by putting few washers between the ball end and the steering linkage to bring them back in. That helps to stop it dragging the outside tyre on tighter turns which increases your turning radius.

Did u change the shock? Look lowered that original stock
@tedstinytrucks13803 жыл бұрын
Hi - I didn't change the shocks, all as originally supplied. I did take a leaf out of each leal spring just to soften things up - I think that helps its sit a little lower too.

@loquitos19723 жыл бұрын
@@tedstinytrucks1380 Sorry for that, must be just my hearing. I'm a non native English speaker (Indonesian born, living most of my live in the Netherlands).. But it was very creatively done (the LED lights). Though I wonder if you connect(ed) them on CH-3 and could switch it on/off from CH-3, doesn't it drain too much power ?(Amps I mean) and does the receiver deliver 3,3 - 5 volt? If connected parallel maybe not, but in series? (never mind.. just the electrical guy in me thinking about that out loud! hahaha)
@tedstinytrucks13803 жыл бұрын
@@loquitos1972 Not a problem at all Sanny - if you can make it past my accent you are doing well 🤣 I could connect the LEDs to the receiver using a receiver switch - that would enable control from a third channel on the transmitter then. I did something similar on my Marlin here kzbin.info/www/bejne/fnWwYauLZraZiJI The receiver voltage is dependant on the output of the BEC in the ESC, I thinks its 6v on the TBLE-02 thats in this car but I'm not entirely sure, Tamiya documentation isn't great in that aspect. Current draw is tiny from the LEDs so no problems on that front.
