This week we finally made it to Launceston and decided to spend 48 hours exploring the city and nearby attractions. We visited iconic spots such as Cataract Gorge, City Park, Lilydale Falls and Bridestowe Lavender Estate. We hope you enjoy watching 💙🚐

Hey you guys are checking out some of my fav places. I was born in Launceston and got to know the Basin/Gorge, Grindelwald and Lillydale falls. Oh and you were parked close to my office in town, its quite a busy area, so good thing you were there on a public holiday :)

We loved Launceston (and Tassie as a whole!). So many beautiful spots you can enjoy as a local. Definitely got lucky with the timing and the public holiday!

Ah Cataract Gorge was amazing, really wished we'd worn our bathers and spent the day swimming there.. it would have been great on hot summer days ☀️ Yeah we definitely timed our visit wrong with the public holiday... we'd never heard of Recreation Day before and only heard about it from the locals. But I'm sure we'll be back when we finish the lap and are back north as we really enjoyed it in Launceston and wish we spent more time there. 💙

Love you guys. Wehan already thinks hes an aussie.... he said i didnt know WE had peacocks in oz. Lol. Would love some content on your overall impressions of tas... eg: lack of people, wildlife spotting opportunities, the clean air, the awesome sunrises and sunsets, etc, etc. Beautiful footage again. Youve seen a bit of tassie but so many more awesome spots to see. Recommended bay of fires, freycinet peninsula, bruny island near hobart, port arthur, Richmond, strahaun. Look forward to next ongoing journey

Thank you for the kind words and the recommendations! 💙 Even though we don’t seem it we are actually Aussies, we both moved over when we were kids 😊 We’ll definitely film a state summary on Tasmania chatting about all of those things before we leave. Tasmania has been incredible so it will be fun to talk about.
