One of my best takeaways from Europe was learning how to tie scarves. I still wear them. They keep my neck warm when I am outside and it is cold. The hot choc, scones and cream looked yummy. Loved the sparkle show. ✨💌

Just spent Valentines day in Paris. Met up with my husband who is deployed to Kosovo. We then went on to Normandy and then Brussels. So glad you guys finally made it there!

My daughter and I love going to Paris. We go to France every year . My daughter is fluent in French so makes it easy to enjoy. We stay in the same area and love the quietness of the area and have become friends with the locals. Love Love France ….❤

A good way to see the sparkle show is to book the dinner cruise along the river. It's not that expensive the meal is pretty good with wine. You guys sure like to walk I would of taken the metro or taxi. Better yet some of the private tours will take you where you want to go and they aren't that expensive.

Oh Kacey, I LOVE, LOVE Paris! Thanks for the memories! What hotel did you stay at? I stayed across from Notre Dame in the Latin Quarter, at the Esmeralda. I lived in Europe for years, and an umbrella is an absolute must, even if it's sunny. The weather changes fast.

Sparkle show - Love it! I lived in Paris for 6 months and was at the Eiffel Tower New Year's Eve 2,000 when the first sparkle show happened. BTW -Just a note: In NY the high end stores will put your purchases in plain white bags so you don't get jumped in the streets. I know there's issues in many European cities also including Paris (just a word to the wise). Looks like you had a great time.

If you are still in Europe I would recommend you to visit Brussel, 1.5 hour by train from Paris and 1 day is really enough to see almost everything in Brussel. I had my trip to Paris and then to Brussel this winter and was lucky to see a light Christmas show in Brussel in Grand place, that place is amazing even without any shows( Brussels town hall and other beautiful old wonders of architecture)
