I will admit it. I watched an older vlog yesterday. It was parents weekend at UK last year. Watching your entire family at UK was wonderful. Watching your dad “play” the piano and Pup making her faces. 😂 I miss her so much and I never had the joy to meet her. I can’t imagine your pain. I hope this post doesn’t make you sad. Yea everything changes when your married, days you didn't mind working are really a chore, when your spouse is off and then your gone working. I work for Allegiant, so we are home every night, but when I do have a RON or have to work a day my husband has off, I really hate it. You weren't naive about life Cassy, honey your going through the worst kind of mourning. I know it doesn't seem like you will ever feel that happiness again, but believe me you will. It will be in little moments, little memories, maybe when you have your first baby, you will feel all sorts of emotions, but true happiness , where everything is perfect you will feel again. I promise:)

I hate that your trip was kind of a crap show before it started, but glad you were able to make the most of it and find the good in it after all. I love seeing Josh in your videos and love that you got a later check-in time so you could see him for a bit. The way he takes you to the airport to spend time with you is super sweet too. It's the little things that matter in life and it's nice to see you smiling.

After all you've been through I know you already know this - but the flexibility of flying choices to suit your life is huge! I once asked for a trade of my CDG for a rotten (junior) 2D. It happens. The junior FA turned me in said I was pimping her!!! I just needed her domestic layover to see a grieving friend. Hang in there.

Watching this Kacey, I just had an epiphany. You need to get a job in social media at your airline and leave the flight attendant thing behind. I mean, how sad that you’re giving up your weekends with the one you really love to fly around and stay at random hotels and blog about how cute the rooms are. You’ll still get the flight benefits but your hours will be more closely aligned with your hubby. My daughter left her job as a flight attendant with the very same airline a year ago and hasn’t looked back. People will continue to watch your vlogs because of you. Not your occupation. Life’s too short. You don’t want to turn into crew rest Karen do you? Do it Kacey. Brush up that resume and start courting the creative department! You’ve got this!!

I hope everything gets a least a LITTLE better. My retreat when I was having a TRULY awful day going through DFW. (by way of SPI to DFW to MIA to SVD (med school abroad and I hated it.... I had been crying since 3AM that morning and was already homesick- during the long delay at DFW I went ahead and "splurged" on the Minute Suites in DFW. So quiet and so worth the privacy. I figured I sometimes spend the same amount in a two hour time frame depression impulse buying in the airport stores- so cost seemed reasonable. Many hugs from a long time (and sometimes unreasonably sobbing) AA passenger.

I wonder why airports don't provide better seating accommodations in this era of so many delays and cancellations, with airports/travel more busy than ever. Gate seating could be better. Open-area seating is often overcrowded or non-existent. The last time I passed through Charlotte, I sat on the floor for 3 hours after waiting in a food line for 90 minutes. I'd wig out if it was my industry or if I needed to travel more often.
