48 HOURS OF VANLIFE! in Ormond Beach, Florida

We're trying out #vanlife for 48 hours! Living tiny has been appealing to us more and more lately. Will we love it? In our search for the ultimate adventure lifestyle we've experimented with a cute Airstream, an amazing houseboat, a pink tiny house, and you know we're always up for tent camping. But for real, this just might be a game changer! In this episode we're getting behind the wheel of a custom built adventure van equipped with everything we might need for epic extended trips or even just fun, relaxing weekends. We're so excited!

Yes! We're back in Florida! It was definitely a different kind of adventure compared to tent camping. What an upgrade! Wait till you see what we made in the next episode. It makes me hungry just thinking about it again. 😂 The van is so nice. It's like have a little house! Always great to hear from you Freeman!

We want to rent a van to try van life out. It is a dream of our to do when Mike retires. The dream is to live in a bunch of different cities for a few weeks. Hope you had fun trying out the van!

It's such a cool lifestyle! After getting used to just tent and car camping, this felt like a major upgrade. It's so awesome to have everything you need and not worry about what's going on outside. We definitely have a lot of plans for the future. We hope you guys get to try it out soon! 🚐😊

Do not try to stay in a Walmart in Florida! Always stay at a cracker barrel, truck stop or in a hotel parking lot is very easy to hide in.We have been traveling around the whole state of Florida in a van for five months now.

Thanks so much for the great advice! Is it a safety reason that you guys wouldn't consider it? We loved the Cracker Barrel. That was awesome waking up and being able to just go have a meal if we were hungry. How's it been over the five months you've been traveling in Florida?

The Walmarts in Florida that we dealt with would not allow over nights and I was shocked to find a tow tru k driver banging on our door at 1:30 am trying to tow us out of a Walmart. I find hotels so easy to park at because they are so full and we just blend in. I just wait till late and find and empty spot in the back of lot to hide in. Truck stops are always friendly and well lit, so we always stay in those too and when you wake up there is bathrooms and fast food to munch on. Cracker Barrel’s are awesome too!

That's awesome that you mentioned them! We love The Wynns! We actually just watched their new episode yesterday. Over the years they've been some of our favorites that we watch for inspiration.
